Thought that this was a valid sit-down restaurant. After walking around the block, I called and was told that it is catering only, which is too bad, because your food looked terrific. Please update your website and Google!

Stand out Vegan soul food on the outskirts of town - Edit
Driving from New York to Niagara Falls we hunted out a vegan stop on the way and happy that we stopped here. Small unassuming location, friendly staff and a great selection of traditional US foods. All vegan.

We've been to Our Vegan Corner many times on trips between New Jersey and Ontario over the past year. The food is consistently delicious and if anything has gotten even better over time. The business is set up like a fast food restaurant, but what you're getting is not fast food; it's authentic home-made vegan soul food that is prepared fresh on order. For this reason, you may sometimes have to wait a few minutes, but it's totally worth it.

A special place
We stopped by Our Vegan Corner twice over the last week. The first time, it was on a cold night, and the restaurant felt warm, cozy and inviting. It's a small and simple space, but it's clean and nicely decorated, and the friendly service leaves a very pleasant feeling. The fried oyster mushrooms were crispy and soft. The burger was excellent. The cornbread and mac and cheese were also very satisfying. The sauces were subtle and superb. Even though some of the food was breaded and fried, it didn't feel at all greasy. Both times, we had a piece of the homemade cake, which was moist and delightful. It's nice to support a small vegan business while eating good food.

We stopped here on our way through Syracuse and Wow!!! The food is all fresh made, not processed. I had the fried oyster mushroom chick’n, Mac and cheeze, and rice with beans. My friend had a fried cauliflower chick’n bowl. Both were to die for! They have got the crisp down on that chick’n. The house sauce was bomb. And everything was seasoned just right. The entire restaurant is vegan, and everything is made from scratch with fresh ingredients………no impossible burger here 😊. Just real food with real soul and love put into it. My friend is not vegan and he just thought it was good food!!! The owner was really nice and we had great conversation. It’s great to give my money to a small local business that really cares about the food they are preparing. My only regret is I couldn’t try everything on the menu. I will definitely be back next time I’m in Syracuse. I might even drive 9 hours just to eat here. It was that good!!!

Hi please delete if not allowed but as someone who travels a lot for vegan restaurants I want to share my experience with one that is new to me! Our Vegan Corner is up near Syracuse and the whole experience was absolutely fantastic! My mom and I were having a girls day at the state fair and we didn’t find much luck for food so we stuck to fries. We left and ordered from our vegan corner online what felt like the whole menu we couldn’t decide everything looked so delicious and it absolutely was. The drive there was easy parking was easy. There’s not one thing on the menu that wasn’t amazing everything was so good! We finished the whole bucket of fried oyster mushrooms lol. What really made me want to write about this restaurant and share our experience was the young man who owned the restaurant. He’s newer to the area restarting his dads business. Talking to him I got chills he’s one of those people with the sweetest kindest most positive energy. I really feel like i have more to say about how amazing he is as a person than the food itself. You can tell he makes everything with so much love and detail you can taste it too lol. He’s doing this all on his own right now with the help of a few friends down at the fair. If you’re in the syracuse area please give Our Vegan Corner a chance please be patient. I’m really hoping to see this young man thrive and grow with this business he really proved to us that he 100% deserves it. It was a 10/10 experience food and service the only thing i regret was not getting his name because he made us feel like friends.

The wait to get our food was a lot longer than expected. They where having some issues with the frier. We ended up having to switch the fries to Mac and cheese. When we did finally get our food it was fantastic. I think the mac and cheese would be even better with some bbq sauce or something spicy. Looking forward to trying more, but calling ahead might be a good idea.

Wholesome vegan food made with love - Edit
I swear to God I can taste the good vibes in this food. We had: chick'n fried oyster mushrooms, buffalo cauliflower, chili cheese fries, collard greens, mac & cheese, black bean soup, and cornbread. It was so good! All homemade, hearty portions... whenever I visit Syracuse, this is one of the places that I never want to miss. The gentleman who I think owns it does just about all of the cooking himself... he was also working the register when we were there and he is all smiles and friendliness. The place is clean and bright. Highly recommended!

So... I'm really fighting the urge to give this place 1 star. Which makes me sad to give any veg place such a low rating. I realize this may have been an off day, but the food we were given was truly, but TRULY unacceptable. The Chick'N Wrap had almost nothing in it. The corn bread was tasteless, dry, and old. I couldn't even eat it, and I love any kind of bread 😬 The corn on the cob... I didn't know you could boil corn this terribly and also have it taste like nothing.

The staff seemed nice enough and I am grateful for people taking on any business for the vegan cause, but this experience was really not okay. It was take-out so we couldn't politely send it back 🤷🏻♀️

As someone who cooks plenty of vegan food at home, I was not "blown away", but it was a good meal. What I do love is their mission and vision to help the community. The gentleman behind the counter was so happy and friendly, singing as he prepared our meal. I loved the tacos and my guy loved the mac and cheese. The ribs were good and did not look like the photo. The gelati was AMAZING. We will be back. :-)

Read moreThis is my first review and I wanted to take the time to do it because I felt the customer service was outstanding. Onna was so friendly and personal and was very helpful in helping me pick what to order amidst the myriad of options.
This will easily be my new go to downtown lunch spot. It was my first time there, but it somehow felt like I was already a regular. I can’t wait to try every item on the menu!

We tried the vegan ribs based on other’s reviews and were not too impressed. It tasted like a bunch of catsup poured on a think lentil loaf for $13-14. This was not our favorite. The corn bread on the side was okay. About a mile away is a much better vegan restaurant.

My husband and I stopped here during a road trip in search of delicious vegan food, and we found it! The young woman working was also extremely kind and helpful. We had the chick’n and the Mac and cheese, both of which were wonderful. I believe all the proceeds go to a local charity as well! Win win win!!

The venue was nice, staff is friendly and the food overall was good. I got the rib combo meal with Mac and cheese and collard greens. My partner got the fried chicken meal with rice and Mac and cheese. The food was seasoned well HOWEVER the MAC AND CHEESE WAS AWFUL. It was WATERY, no flavor and just NOT GOOD. Especially compared to other vegan Mac and cheese spots we've gone to.

I would recommend this place 1000%. Their food is AMAZING. I got the Chick’n meal & my friends got the rib meal. I also got the nachos supreme & they were AMAZING. I love vegan soul food and supporting the great work of this business! The owner was super friendly and there were so many delicious options to choose from. I ordered a fried chick’n meal with collards, mac and cheese, and corn bread. My husband got a mango Italian ice and I got a vanilla and chocolate twist soft serve ice cream for dessert. The cornbread was a little drier than I expected but still very flavorful. The soft serve chocolate had an icier consistency but it’s a rare treat to find vegan soft serve anywhere. The collards and fried chick’n were definitely my favorite and I’d order them again. Cannot wait to go back to try the vegan ribs!
