Best Fresh Tofu - Edit
This was literally our favorite food in all of Portland, granted we were only here for a weekend. Upon arrival, this looks like you’re interrupting a factory. However, they have a tiny menu posted in the office, and you can order even a single block of tofu. We had, a medium block of tofu and an Atsu, which is a thick slab of fried tofu. The gentleman helping us out was very friendly. I can see why locals come here on a regular basis to buy tofu, and why they supply tofu it’s nearby restaurants. We ate the medium tofu by itself, plain without any seasoning. We just scooped it out with a spoon and it was amazingly fresh and clean tasting. We also just microwaved the fried tofu and just ate a plain as well.

I bought 12 unpackaged blocks of extra firm tofu. The employee was friendly and helpful.

Handmade tofu is on another level. Toughest choice is how much extra firm and age tofu to get at a time. Made fresh daily on the premises. Prices are actually cheaper than most store bought brands. Always have a great experience here.

They sell bulk tofu blocks, fresh soy milk, and fried age tofu from a counter at the front of the factory. So good!
