Few vegan options but good and nice

Unfortunately this place has vew vegan options and they are not clearly labelled as such, but the fact that they have them at all is still big in this part of Austria. The 2 main seitan dishes, mentioned in the main description, taste very well - that is if you like seitan and potatoes (effective August 2020). That apple strudel as dessert normally comes with a topping of whipped cream (non-vegan), so, it is important to communicate your wishes.

And that is the other very good part - the fact that communication about vegan options is easy and well supported by the staff. In many other restaurants in this particular rural area of Austria, you are either not understood or mocked at, when asking about vegan options, but in this restaurant all is ok.

In general - also important if you come with non-vegan friends - the portions are big and, as I hear, well tasting also.

Pros: Friendly and understanding staff, nicely sized portions

Cons: only few vegan dishes, vegan dishes are not clearly labelled in the menu, sitting outside motorcycles can be loud sometimes
