Last Supper - Edit
Heading home tomorrow and decided on Osteria da Fortunata, which met the likes of the non-vegans and me.
Read moreThe menu was actually a bit more complicated than I expected. Thankfully the waiter helped in adjusting our suggestions to suit our tastes.
Settled on the fried mixed vegetables (think tempura) for an appetizer. A bit too salty for me.
Main course I settled on the Sciavatelli All’Arrabbiata. The noodles were perfect in texture and the spicy sauce added a nice kick.
Nice meal, not sure if I would do it again.

I love their sciavatelli - Edit
They make delicious, freshly-made sciavatelli, a traditional (vegan)Roman pasta which, to me, are worth four stars. Unfortunately, there are not many other options, except for (seasonal) artichokes and a few more sides.

Pantheon venue - no options - Edit
We went to the venue by the Pantheon. I was happy to see the green vegan sign by many dishes. However, when I looked closer these options had cheese so the symbol had been used for vegetarian meals. We asked if there was anything vegan and were told no. Very disappointing and misleading.

Read moreThe vegan options were very limited and I wish they had more of them on offer. Still, the vegan food I had there was authentic and tasted amazing. The overall service was great!
