Separate vegan menu - Edit
The restaurant has a cool design which I liked a lot. The owner and the staff were super nice and bring you a separate vegan menu and vegan starter if you ask. They offer multiple dishes which were all unique in some kind of way compared to the traditional italian versions. The bruschette with polenta was delicious and I really liked the vegan mozzarella made from milkrice, a bit similar to mochi, because it actually had a creamy melted texture.

All the food we had was of great taste. My phone's internet didn't work at the restaurant so I couldn't look up what any of the dishes meant. None of the staff really spoke English either. But we were very happy with the food we got in the end. Everything was of great quality. It was not really expensive, but the portions were quite small and not quite filling enough. If we had ordered one more round it would have been perfect, but also more expensive of course.

Man muss zwar erst nach der veganen Karte fragen und es stehen keinerlei vegane Sachen in der normalen Karte aber wenn man die einmal hat hat man eine tolle Auswahl von Vorspeisen bis zur Nachspeise.

They have a separate vegan menu (don’t worry to ask for it), which was wonderful. We had two starters and two main dishes, and it was completely perfect (their vegan cheese is delicious). They serve amuse-bouche before the starter and they surprised us with a vegan one, with pumpkin and capers. We brought our dog with us and they gave her water immediately. Price was totally fine.

Es gibt eine separate vegane Karte. Meine Vorspeise war frittierte Pizza mit Paprika, das war ganz gut. Als Hauptspeise hatte ich Nudeln mit Kichererbsensoße. Die Nudeln waren leider hart, also mehr als aldente und die Soße hat mach nichts geschmeckt. Wirklich schade.

Came here expecting great vegan food in a non vegan place and I was not disappointed! You need to ask for the vegan menu and the options are pretty traditional Italian dishes which usually never get veganized in Italian restaurants. They also include vegan cheeses (rice mozzarella and vegan parmigiano) in some dishes. Out of what I have had I recommend the pizza fritta (antipasto but comes in the amount of a main dish imo), not so much the parmigiana, the aubergine were still a bit raw and cut too thick, but I say defo try the place.

Deserves five stars. Top quality food and extremely friendly service. Highly recommended when in Trieste. Ask for the vegan menu, which - at the time of my visit - included three entrees, three primi (all pasta dishes), two secondi (including an excellent parmigiana di melanzane made with plant-based cheese) and one dessert, in addition to pizza with rice mozzarella. Reasonably priced with mains at 8-10 EUR. Best vegan meal in town. Will be back.
