Very good food, way overpriced

We had the pasta con fagioli (a basic bean and pasta soup), and also a plate of beet greens. While the food was tasty and the owner extremely knowledgeable and friendly, I would not return. It was our most expensive meal during 5 days in Venice.

Pros: A couple vegan options.

Cons: Overpriced

"Vegan, No Problem"

The reviews are all accurate. My wife explained in Italian that we were vegan, and she replied in English "Vegan. No problem," and walked us through a handful of dishes that were already vegan or could be altered. It's a small homey restaurant with really great Italian food. It's pretty much exactly the kind of place you'd dream up in your head when you're planning a trip to Italy but assume you'll never find because you're vegan.

Pros: It's good.

Would give 5 stars

Great place to go for dinner when in Venice! The staff were really accommodating by sharing which of their dishes were vegan and informing me of a dish that wasn’t on the menu they could make. I had the gnocchi and the butter and sage was substituted for a tomato sauce. It was delicious and filling. It wasn’t cheap however I feel like that is just what you expect in Venice. Would definitely recommend

Pros: Number of vegan options , Cozy restaurant

would give 5 stars if i could !!!

possibly the kindest service and loveliest food i’ve ever had !!! we booked a table and arrived early and they accommodated for that, then we said we’re vegan is there anything you could give us (after seeing happy cow reviews) and the owner said “ahh yes of course you can have this, this, this OR i can make you special eggplant spaghetti” and so we had that and it was DELICIOUS ! plus she educated me that aperol sprits is not actually vegan (!!) which i didn’t know and instead brought us a very mysterious but equally delicious vegan alternative. honestly the best meal i’ve had in ages i’m so happy we went here !

Pros: amazing service, kind people, INCREDIBLE food

Great food, vegan options, slightly expensive

This is a small restaurant with good food and a nice atmosphere. The chef was happy to replace the butter in the “gnocchi with butter sage sauce” by olive oil. I also had Venetian bread pudding, which happened to be vegan. Both were great. The main dishes each cost around 15 euros. I would give this restaurant 5 stars if Happy Cow would let me.

Accommodating owner interested in fresh ingredients

The owner was so nice! She made me a delicious plate of grilled vegetables and polenta, and the wine was tasty and affordable. Funky atmosphere. She sat down and explained to me how much Venetian food is vegetable based. Check this place out- it is a gem!
