They had a lot of vegan options and vegetarian options that can be made vegan with modifications. Price point was fair and the atmosphere is nice!

The tofu taco was tasty, although a little softer than I anticipated. They have a vegan version of their sauce that was really good. I really loved the mushroom taco. They were seasoned and cooked perfectly! One of the best mushroom tacos I’ve ever had. There is a menu at the counter that highlights the vegan options and how to customize everything, which was helpful. Staff was knowledgeable and well versed with the menu and options, which was refreshing.

Not a vegan restaurant, but made some serious yummy vegan taco options for us. We lucked out that it was on the special board for the day. One of the highlights of our trip friendly staff, clean facility and ample parking. Would come back here if we were in the area

Vegan options and fun vibe - Edit
Liked the vibe of the place. Staff was good. Had our order mixed up and was given to someone else. The staff set us up with free chips and salsa while we waited. Tried the tofu tacos. Sauce was good and tofu fried well. Also tried the rice and beans taco, a little bland, and the soy crumble tacos, also a little bland. My kids weren't very happy with the soy crumble version. But the effort is there.

Best Tacos and vegan options! - Edit
I would give them five stars if allowed!! Buffalo tofu was chef special and my husband loved it! We had sweet and sour crispy tofu, sprout taco and sprouts bowl. In the bowl I added veg protein and aioli that was vegan! Simply delicious!! You can make any taco vegan!!!!! We will be coming back!!

I have eaten here 3 times! Whenever I am in St. Augustine around lunch time I stop at Osprey's. My most recent visit I got the Crispy Tofu Taco. It's my favorite I've tried there. The sweet and spicy sauce they use is really tasty and they know how to cook tofu really well. It's crispy on the outside and slightly firm on the inside. I also usually get whatever their herbivore special of the day is and every time I've come in it has been something new! The most recent time it is was a lime cilantro tempeh taco, It was good but needed more sauce on top. They also have soy protein. The chips and salsa are also good, the chips have the right amount of salt and the salsa is a little spicy( but the good kind.) They sell canned and bottled drinks. MOST IMPORTANTLY the 3 times I've come in during Covid-19 ALL staff that I can see were wearing their masks properly which is extremely important to me. This place is a win win vegan options and Covid safe!

I had a brussel sprout taco and the tofu taco. Both had really good flavors but so much oil/fat I was slightly sick afterwards. I don't cook with any oil so I'm not used to it, but the brussel sprout taco was dripping oil. I will not be back. I live close and was hoping for another great vegan meal.

Several veg options on the menu, many that can be made vegan. Woman at counter was knowledgeable and checked about whether I wanted to leave off cheese. She also offered that they have a vegan Baja sauce. I got the crispy tofu taco and the avocado taco with black bean purée (minus cheese). Both were good, but the crispy tofu was amazing!! We also had chips and guacamole, which was outstanding. We were visiting, but I had the impression that this is where locals go. I saw many ordering the shrimp and fish tacos, which may be important if there are fish eaters in your group.

Awesome option for vegans in the area! The lady at Osprey Tacos was excited to show us all of the vegan options on the menu, so we felt confident that they really put some thought and effort into accommodating veg-heads😄We had a Brussels sprouts taco (my favorite!), a crispy tofu taco (bf’s favorite!), and a San Diego taco (with soy protein) - each was very flavorful and enjoyable in its own right! The guac was fresh and noticeably house-made. I was excited for the freshly made churro at the end of our meal, and it did not disappoint! :)

Really delicious. Would eat here again and again! Very clear on which options are vegan/can be made vegan. Brussels sprout taco was outrageously good and I wish I’d had 10! YUM and definitely going every time I’m in St. Augustine.

Osprey Tacos has fresh, inventive, gourmet tacos. Every day they offer a Herbivore Taco special which is often vegan and always vegetarian. Often their specials include tempeh, Brussels sprouts, cauliflower or plantains. On their menu, they have a crispy tofu taco, an avocado taco, a Brussels sprout taco, and a black bean taco that can easily be made vegan. They also offer TVP for their tacos.They offer a vegan Baja sauce that can be subbed out for their normal Baja sauce. Their staff is friendly and knowledgeable. This is a great place to visit with nonveg friends/family—there’s something for everyone. Also, you can eat your tacos next door at the brewery!

Read moreI had the sweet tofu taco, the special of the day taco (which was sweet potato and other deliciousness), and a churro. I throughly enjoyed my tacos! They were absolutely delicious and I wish I could have eaten another 5 of them.
The staff was very knowledgeable about vegan things and the owner(?) Called his wife to double check that the churros were vegan as she used to be one.
Great experience and would definitely come back here to overeat tacos again.
