Beautiful place and delicious ice cream! - Edit
This place is so pretty and cozy! The ice cream is so good! I’ve tried lemon and chocolate so far. Be careful: Not all the flavours are vegan, but about half of them are.
Read moreThey have several savoury vegan options on their menu but I’ve never tried them. They sound delicious though, but are a bit expensive because the ingredients are organic and mostly locally sourced. They also have vegan cake (unfortunately wasn’t my thing at all).
Pros: Beautiful place in nature, Great ice cream

Great choices to affordable prices - Edit
We had two main dishes, which were both simple and affordable. The concept of growing and using their own vegetables is great! Very nice seating area.

Fate occhio! - Edit
Diciture Vegan messe senza molta attenzione.

Piccolo paradiso! - Edit

Amazing restaurant - Edit
Such a big choice of vegan foods😍. All meals were simple but still delicious and healthy. The fruit based ice creams are the only vegan ones, but there are 3 vegan cakes that taste incredible!

This place is in a beautiful location, surrounded by grape Vines. It has many vegan options, and they all look like home made. The merenda toscana was delicious! It is a must try. Suggested.

Really nice restaurant with lovely staff in a really nice location - I highly recommend going there. Better make a reservation before going there, especially if you want to eat late (after 8:30pm)

Best camp site with vegan food - Edit
If you are vegan and love camping you must visit Orti Di Mare in Locano/Elba! In peak seasons the restaurant is usually fully booked 1-2 days in advance. Our omni-friends enjoyed their meals, too. It‘s a bit pricey (vegan starter plate 16 EUR), but good value for local ingredients and lovely staff.
Read moreThe campsite is simple but well maintained and looked after. You can join activities like good morning meditation and guided tours through flora and nature around the site. I also enjoyed the vast choice of easily accesible MTB trails.
Lots of tents with families and younger #vanlife campers and less white walls on wheels.
Bring money or your own food. Not much grocery except a mini-market with not much vegan options (Alpro Soy Milk).
Great place!

A great place for people who love wholefoods. I do, that is why I loved all the dishes I had. The vegan pie was made only with healthy ingredients, what a joy. Best place for healthy people on the island

Good food & nice atmosphere - Edit
Went here as it was one of the veeerrrry few places on Elba that offers vegan food. It’s part of a bio camping location. And it did not disappoint! We had the vegan piadina (sort of quessadilla like dish with veggies & hummus), salad & bruschetta and it all was great! We will probably go back again during our stay here!

Organic and homemade - Edit
This is such a cute place with a bistro and organic market where you can buy fruit, veg, bread and homemade jams. It has outdoor seating and really friendly staff. I had a vegan platter including the sweetest grapes I have ever tasted. I also had a chocolate-pear cake, which was good but a bit rich for my liking, with fig ice cream which was delicious!

Interesting place. - Edit
If you happen to be on Isola d'Elba and you're vegan you have almost no chance to have a decent meal. I personally had a terrible experience in a typical restaurant in Marina di Campo. They improvised a vegan first course but the result was miserable and the supposed grilled vegetables were practically burned. The bill at the end was unreasonably high.I thanked them for the effort and I said to myself " never again".Orti di Mare is a real oasis in the desert. This local Farm is situated in Lacona,South East of the island. They produce and sell organic certified vegetables and fruit. The restaurant is by the campsite in a pine wood in land not far from the sea. A very pleasant place to eat.The good and rare thing for the Elba Island is that they have a vegan and vegetarian choice on the Menù and on Sunday only a vegetarian/vegan set Menù. As a vegan I was fully satisfied.I started with a very tasty Tomatoe Bruschetta and an excellent fresch salad. As first course a very good savoury Vegan Tarte with spelt and curgettes followed by a generous portion of Fagioli all'Uccelletta ( type of beans). A typical toscanian dish, honestly the best I ever had. As dessert a well conceived Vegan Cake with dried fruit and oat flakes. At the end of the meal help yoursel to a healthy sage or melissa infusion. The quality of food is excellent and well cooked with a pleasant touch of creativity. The portions are generous and prices moderate. You won't be disappointed !
