verstehe den hype nicht. Das Ambiente ist natürlich schön, aber das Essen recht teuer und dafür wirklich nicht lecker, wir hatten eine Bowl und den Tempehburger. Hatte viel viel mehr erwartet und das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt für mich nicht, nachdem ich schon viiiel besseres veganes essen für viel weniger Geld in Thailand bekomme habe.

Best Vegan Restaurant in Koh Phangan - Edit
I had read many reviews saying that this restaurant was expensive. Let me begin by saying that there are many vegan restaurants in Koh Phangan as expensive or more expensive than Orion. That is where the comparison with the other restaurants ends because Orion offers the best tasting and most delicious and nutritious vegan food on the island! The meals are freshly prepared and the portions are certainly filling. I have been on the island for over two weeks and tried just about every vegan restaurant here and found this to be my favorite. Be sure and check it out if you are visiting here.

Orion grew on me and I came to love the place by the end of my 6 week stay in KP... clean vegan food and delicious! And the juices and elixir shots got me through a detox.... and the view? You just can't beat it. I especially love the Zen bowl and the cheesy shrooms wrap... they are delightful! Also had the burgers (Tempehtation and Soma Shroom) but wasn't the great. The Vegan shashouka is decent too.

We've traveled thru SE Asia now for 3 months and Orion ranks as my FAVORITE vegan restaurant across 4 countries and many cities. As a gluten-free celiac vegan, I have not found too many restaurants I'm comfortable eating at, either because of trace contamination in ingredients or processes. Here, everything is homemade and nearly everything on the extensive menu is gluten-free (and marked). The food was absolutely delicious at lunch so we went back for dinner. Another awesome meal. Dishes are innovative and beautifully presented, and there is just so much to choose from. The prices are quite reasonable for both the portion size and quality. Certainly there are plenty of places on this island that charge more and just don't compare with Orion. The staff were excellent, both during the ordering process and cleaning up our table after we ate. And did I mention the open-air seating in bean bags right at the beach?? I cannot think of a single thing to improve. Perfection!
