Atas feel with good food and excellent service - Edit
The "meatball" in the pasta was so solid. We enjoyed the magic mushroom as well.
Read moreSuper love the mango smoothies that we had during our first visit months ago that we ordered 3 cups! For our 2nd visit, my kids remember and wanted to order but it was sold out.
Pros: Option with no onion garlic clearly labelled, Friendly staff

Great Drinks, Ok Food - Edit
Nice dinner date night spot. Great selection of wines, juices, and kombucha. The vegan Absolut pasta was pretty basic and the Tandoori Skewers were about average as well. Vegan apple crumble dessert was very good. The drinks and dessert selection are what would bring me back. Would like to try again and hope for better food experience.

Amazing food but expensive - Edit
All of the food is vegetarian and most menu options can be made vegan — the menu is very clear about what fishes are and aren’t vegan. The waitstaff is also able to make almost all of the fishes vegan if you ask.

Very nice atmosphere with friendly and kind staff. Mezze platter is great to share as a starter, every dip has a twist in taste. Mains were nice and the apple crumble and lava cake were very delicious. Food is high quality and in line with with steep price.

expensive but very tasty - Edit
Very comfortable, waiters are helpful and give loads of advice. The food was also excellent, I shared with 3 friends. But be prepared to pay around 40 dollar per person.

Good food but expensive. Limited vegan options - Edit
It has mediterranean fare (pasta, pizza, falafel, risotto etc) on the regular menu and a no meat burger / wrap on the weekday set lunch menu.
Read moreThe food and service is very good but expensive. A proper meal for 2 without wine would easily total SGD 80.
Most items use dairy and / or eggs. They are marked on the menu and some of them can be made without them.
The cheese is not animal rennet free and so is not vegetarian. Sometimes they do have one or two rennet free cheeses but its not often. The servers would tell you which cheese, if any, is rennet free. There is no vegan cheese option.

Pros: Good food, Good service

mediocre food, overpriced - Edit
Had the mezze platter, broccoli pasta and pomerenate salad.
Read moreHeard a lot about this and was excited to try it. Sorely disappointed by the quality of the food. Perhaps previously when there were less vegan options in other restaurants, original sin stood out. And terribly overpriced as well
Fortunately there are now many restaurants and cafes that have vegan/vegeterian options that taste better and are better value for money.
Doubt I'll ever return.

Nice - Edit
Ate here with my husband on 11th April 2012 for his birthday. We shared a haloumi starter - beautifully presented, tasted good but so many different flavours detracted from the haloumi. For the main course I had moussaka. It was OK but unexciting. My husband had an asparagus, mushroom and ricotta tart. Again it was OK but very bland and the tart was too deep and the filling mushy. Add to that a side order of garlic bread, 2 beers and a bottle of water and we got very little change from $120. Most of the food was Mediterranean and Mediterranean food should be flavoursome and exciting. This was not.

A trip to Original Sin - Edit
tuated near Holland Village mrt, Original Sin stands out as a restaurant that caters to health conscious customers. The menu offers mediterranean cuisine that is an ideal diet that Naturopaths recommend to patients.
Read moreI came here during lunch time in which they offered a lunch set ($27) which consisted of a choice of smoothie/soup of the day, main course, brownie for dessert and coffee/tea.
I chose the Tropical smoothie that consisted of dairy milk and banana. The smoothie tasted diluted (not enough addition of bananas) which was disappointing.
The Meditarranean wrap was good, the dressing of balsamic vinegar complimented the salad and the wrap. Ingredients were fresh and the wrap was crispy.
For dessert, was the brownie with ice cream. What could be improved in the menu for Original Sin was to clearly list the dairy free and gluten free options as df and gf. It would make customers more clear of what foods are free from dairy and gluten. Also, description of the brownie was not in depth in the menu, for diet conscious people they would be interested to know what ingredients are in the brownie instead of asking the staff.
Service is attentive and fast. I recommend this place when you are at Holland Village.
