One of my new favorite cafes - Edit
Just a lovely, absolutely charming little cafe. They made a perfect Chemex, a delicious vegan sandwich with fresh bread, and vegan waffles available as well! Our server Amoro was just awesome. Sweet, charming, easy smile, with lots of information. We learned that this cafe focuses on sustainably sourced coffee that offers fair trade prices to the farmers. Not only that, but the pour overs are actually consistently fantastic. I highly recommend.

Plenty of Vegan Options - Friendly place - Edit
Serves vegetarian dishes that can be made vegan (like the chilaquiles) and specific vegan items marked on menu (like the waffles).
Read moreThe last page of menu is sort of a glossary breaking down what ingredients are used, margarine vs butter etc. this is a nice touch so you don’t have to ask lots of questions.
The exterior is plain, blink and you’ll miss it, but the interior is pretty with soaring ceilings and the garden is really lovely.
Service is friendly. I worked on my laptop one day for a while and felt welcome/comfortable to do so.
I ATE HERE THREE DAYS IN A ROW! (1) Chilaquiles - fine but I could I do without the veggies. (2) Molletes - fine but next time will order without vegan cheese. I am vegan but vegan cheese is hit or miss for me (3) Waffles - great! The coffee was good too - plant based milk options.
This place is a gem!
Pros: Vegan options , Interior patio, garden, Friendly service

Wish I Could Have Tried More! - Edit
What a cute little spot. Fantastic drinks, great vegan menu, and beautiful outdoor patio filled with plants. I had coffee, agua del dia, and the BLT. The server told me I should try the chorizo sandwich next time I was in, but I’m sorry to say I didn’t get to go back!! Another time for sure.

Delicious vegan lunch in lovely courtyard - Edit
We stopped in for our first visit at noon and enjoyed fresh juice, a delicious avocado salad, and a vegan chorizo and cheese sandwich. The shaded courtyard was a lovely spot to relax. Everything was fresh and flavorful. Staff were very friendly. Will definitely return.

Healthy and delicious. - Edit
Being vegetarian (let alone, vegan) isn't easy when eating out in Merida. Organico is a comfortable and friendly place south of downtown serving delicious and healthy vegetarian and vegan fare. We had the avocado salad and P a la Nomia; both delicious with the pasta served with vegan cheese. The owner has also created her own coffee-laden concoctions, worth trying. Overall, a very satisfying meal.

Beautiful! - Edit
I headed out to this beautiful cafe for breakfast. The outdoor seating/garden area was so lovely to escape from the hustle and bustle of Mérida centre. Would have gone back if I had more time to spend in Mérida.

Was very excited to track this place down after 2 weeks of being in the north and struggling to eat well. The menu is great here with plenty of vegan choices.
Read moreWith inside and outside seating, there’s a fair bit of space but sitting outside amount the plants was very chilled. The food wasn’t quick out but then I was very happy to chill for an hour or more.
I loved that I could have a vegan cold coffee. Perfect for the heat. A particularly useful thing is that it’s open for breakfast, unlike many, so great for breakfast and I’ll definitely go back. #Veganuary

The best vegan cafe in Centro - Edit
This cafe has quickly become my favorite go to vegan spot in Centro. I love everything about it. The vibe Is perfect with a simple menu at amazing prices. I get lost in their little secret garden and enjoy watching all the little lizards playing in their amazing urban jungle. Their almond cheese and the best Almond cheese I've tasted and just compliments the dishes perfectly. The service is also wonderful and great coffee selection. For vegan breakfast this is the best bet in Merida

Well decorated Cafe with a good selection of options that can be veganized. We got the traditional Mexican dish called chilaquiles which was delicious, as well as the babaganush which stole the show! Definitely recommended.

Sweet little place! - Edit
We stopped in here before our Airbnb was available for a lunch with our two tired little girls. Not only was the food and coffee excellent, the server held and cuddled our littlest so we could eat, and loaned us a book and toy to entertain our eldest. We each had a sandwich, and they were both super tasty! Menu is entirely in Spanish, so be sure Google Translate is on your phone if you’re not fluent!
