This place is amazing, it’s pricier than other places in the area but it’s all organic and everything is so delicious. Worth the money! Vegan are spoilt for choice and lots of veggie options too. Smoothies are amazing.

This restaurant is AMAZING. Really delicious, healthy vegan options and the staff is incredibly nice. You can tell the food is made with a lot of love. We loved the food and atmosphere here so much at dinner that we decided to come back for breakfast the next day. Definitely come here if you are vegan in Arenal!!

A few delicious options that we tried- including the nachos which are NOT hot nachos (not American style). They’re packed full of veggies, mostly cold, but good. Caprese sandwich was Incredible- great pesto flavor. The “creamy cashew pasta” was a little weird, it had a sweet flavor to it. Basically just spaghetti. Falafel sandwich was also decent but the bread was super thick, a lot going on there

I have eaten here a multitude of times. It is by far the best restaurant in downtown La Fortuna. The menu is full of excellent vegan and vegetarian options, the food is made with love and care, and the staff & atmosphere are amazing. If you don’t eat here while in La Fortuna, you are absolutely missing out.

Tienen una carta vegana muy amplia, da gusto poder elegir entre tantas opciones. Se nota que hacen los platos con esmero y amor y eso se traduce en el sabor. Pedí los spaghetti de calabacín (fresco y rico) y una guarnición de plátanos maduros (porque en CR siempre están buenísimos). Las patatas asadas vienen con una salsa muy buena. El brownie estaba increible, a mi es dificil que me guste, blandito calentito y con el borde un poco crujiente y no lleva frutos secos, justo como me gusta. Además el local es muy bonito, y el servicio atento.

I loved this place, I tried to go for breakfast, lunch and dinner one day but unfortunately due to coronavirus rules they closed in the evening (I got a takeaway raw cheesecake instead!).
Read moreAlthough Orgnanico isn't vegan, it feels like it's heading that way - it actively encourages people to order vegan food and the vegan options are always listed first on the menu which I really liked.
For breakfast, I ordered pancakes, which came with peanut butter and fruit. I also ordered a smoothie bowl - both were delicious. For lunch I ordered quinoa patties, which came with fried plantain and salad, and then a chocolate brownie for dessert. I liked the taste of the quinoa patties but the sauce on them was very sweet so was a bit too much with the plantain (as much as I love plantain, I think they would have been better with fries!). The brownie was beautiful!

amazing food + ambiance in the middle of la fortuna! - Edit
We absolutely LOVED this place. Though not fully vegan ( I think they use cow milk and might have meat/fish dishes, though I never actually saw them.), it had many vegan options that we super tasty and nutritious. My boyfriend and I loved the pastas, the Peace and Love bowl, banana pancakes and the RAW VEGAN CHOCOLATE CAKE. I have yet to find another chocolate cake that tops that one! The staff were also lovely added to the chill ambience of the space.

This restaurant is adorable. Such a nice aesthetic. The food is so fresh and tastes amazing. The only thing we didnt like were the vegan milkshakes, definitely opt for a smoothie or the Brown Monkey instead, way better!

The food was amazing and the menu had a great selection!! We'd have gone twice during our local stay, but it was closed New Year's Day. The restaurant was entirely plant-based, which was a delight for my vegan partner and me. Don't miss out on this when you're in La Fortuna!

Great spot for vegan eats in La Fortuna - Edit
What a find in the La Fortuna area! Delicious smoothies, coffees, entrees and dessert. We tried the Caprese sandwich (next time I’d ask for extra cashew cheese) the quinoa burger, and a vegan chocolate brownie with blackberry lavender ice cream.....everything was delicious!

Ironically situated across the most popular seafood restaurant, this cozy place is a must visit in La Fortuna. Clearly marked out menu for vegans and vegetarian English speaking courteous staff.

This restaurant was a great find among a lot of steakhouse options in town. Unique menu offerings using locally sourced products and incorporating local flavors. Quick, friendly service, delicious and affordable smoothies, and a cute gift shop of local crafts and clothes. Highly recommend!

Most of the menu is vegetarian or vegan. The vegan nachos were so fresh and delicious. The pesto pasta was outstanding and unique. Would go back if we’re ever in La Fortuna again.

Wow just wow! Organico Fortuna have really created the perfect place to eat! On all my journeys around the world this place really stands out as the best. I love their concept, the food is so fresh and packed full of flavour, portion sizes are great and the ingredients are of the highest quality. I'm not a fan of bread but their home made bread is just to die for!! The decor is stunning and they really have an outstanding philosophy which really resonated with me. Staff are beautiful people and the service is outstanding. I really think of this place as heaven and couldn't think of any other establishment I'd rather visit more. If you're in La Fortuna or the surrounding area then you'd be crazy not to visit.
