Small chain of organic stores. Stocks organic produce, major health food brands, gluten-free, skin care, eco-friendly detergents & cleaning products, grocery items, and natural remedies. Open Mon-Sun 8:00am-6:00pm.
I was so happy to find some of my favorite products here that I hadn’t used in months during my travels. Including the best Lotus brand ramen and Bob’s Red Mill. Super helpful staff too!
I like that they carry some items of the local brands like Artesano (granola, bread, seeds, burger buns...) or Yogi Super Foods (seeds, super foods, coconut oil...), but the rest of the products are mostly big brands imported from the US or Europe, which I personally don't appreciate, especially with such a great local variety. For a nice shopping experience in a health food store or wanting to discover local snacks, I would go somewhere else. If you are in the area and in need of mylk or a granola bar or craving some imported product, it's of course worth the stop.
As soon as I arrived in Antigua, I went to this shop. I don’t know what I expected, but not this. They don’t really have baked goods (only a very very little section of bread). No vegan cookies or anything like that. It’s not vegan only, and vegan items are not labeled.
Most of all, prices there are shocking! Around 5€ for a pack of juice! I am from Europe and shop in organic shops only, so I know organic stores are not cheap. And I have been to some similar (better!) shops in Mexico (Puerto Escondido) and San Pedro (lake Atitlan), where it was already quite expensive. But nothing compared to this. Sorry, won’t buy there.
This is a well stocked little store if you are in a place to cook for yourself and want some familiar products. I believe the address listed is correct but if you hit "directions" it leads you to the wrong place on the map. It's on 5th St between 5th Ave and 6th Ave.
I was amazed at the number of vegan staples I was able to find there. Soy milk was reasonably priced.
Maybe need a few more beauty products such as soap and toothpastes
I was pleasantly surprised to see how well stocked this place was. I went in looking for healthy snacks for hiking and was spoilt for choice!! There was a great range of food, soaps, cleaning products and supplements. An absolute gem after several months travelling with limited access to this stuff.
This store has treats like Q Ginger and Justin's Peanutbutter Cups that I haven't seen anywhere else in Central America. It was a nice treat to be able to get anything there that I get at the health food stores in Brooklyn/NYC.

Wrong address and map location. - Edit
The address listed I wrong !
Read moreIt is actually on 5a Calle Poniente between 6a Avenida Sur and 5a Avenida Sur
If you follow the map provided you will go to the wrong place, as I did.
Hopefully Organica will make the proper change to their page soon.
Cons: Wrong address
