Organic and Vegan Items! - Edit

There is so much goodness packed into this organic store. From essential oils and beauty products to groceries. Such a great variety of items to please any vegan. Prices are competitive given their quality. If you're in Temecula, definitely stop by!

My Favorite Spot for Lunch - Edit

I love the hot bar. Lots of vegan choices. They also have a sandwich bar and burritos for variety. Juice bar is also popular. I’ve tried it a few times but prefer my juice/smoothie for breakfast. I also enjoy their produce section of the store. All organic!!

Covid Zone - Edit

After 22 years of shopping at Organic Roots, I will no longer spend my hard-earned money there.
While shopping at the Temecula store on July 3rd, I noticed some of the staff wearing their face masks improperly and ineffectively (around the neck or below the nose). As this is a health safety issue for me (I am sixty years of age), other customers, and staff, I expressed my concerns to the manager, a young woman who did not have her nose covered, but was positive and professional in her response.
While continuing to shop, I noticed the owner, Paul Cook, who was also wearing his mask around his neck. I approached him while maintaining social distancing protocol and expressed my safety concerns. I expected a courteous discourse but was shocked by his demeanor and response. He:
• totally dismissed my concerns and, instead, stated his belief that masks do more harm than good.
• dishonored my personal space and repeatedly approached me even though I kept backing up to maintain appropriate social distancing.
• Informed me that, if I don’t like the way they wear their masks, I no longer need to shop at their stores.
Great suggestion. Going forward, instead of shopping at Organic Roots, I’ll shop at Sprout’s and Trader Joes (both of which have far more reasonable prices) and Jimbo’s, which have far superior produce, meats, nuts, and seeds.
Paul Cook, here are my parting words of advice for you: Most people who shop at health food stores do so because of our focus on health (i.e., we try to avoid contracting COVID-19). Show more consideration for your customer’s concerns, because, once we’re gone, we’re gone for good!

Favorite Local Organic grocery store! - Edit

I love supporting this family owned business! They have amazing selections of organic natural foods. It’s like a little mini whole foods for Temecula! Yummy Bakery as well

Pros: Lots of vegan options!, Seasonal and Local, Friendly staff!

Always a great salad bar - Edit

I like Coming in on Wednesdays or Saturdays, that’s a dollar off the salad bar. They have a lot of vegan options throughout the store, from the make up to the freezer section.

Pros: Lots of vegan options on salad bar/deli, Carries several vegan cheeses , Great organic produce

Great store! - Edit

This was my go to grocery store when I lived in Temecula, since before it was Organic Roots. The staff is friendly and very helpful. Everyone was always happy working there. I loved it when they got the vegan soft serve, yum! They were also the only place (at the time, not sure anymore) that sold a local brand of sprouted hummus that was to die for!!!

Vegan Soft Serve! - Edit

I only made a brief visit when passing through town, but am sure I will be back. They have vegan soft serve! It looked like they also had other vegan food offered fresh made as well as smoothies but I didn't get a chance to check them out. I was also really excited to see that they carry Tings, So Delicious Turtle Trails Ice Cream, and other vegan goodies I sometimes have difficulty locating. I highly recommend that you check them out!
