Best scrambled tofu in Sydney

Hands down, the best scrambled tofu in Sydney! Sooo fluffy and tasty. Must try.

Also an awesome acai berry smoothie

Pros: vegan scrambled tofu , vegan French toast, take away options

Tofu scramble was good but the coffee was horrible.

My local at work

I love this place! I get my coffee here every morning and often treat myself with their vegan berry spelt muffins or one of the various houghnuts. The staff are ridiculously friendly so that’s always a plus. Cute and cosy, and it is right in the thick of the cafe culture/strip of Surry Hills.

Pros: Amazing coffee, Lots of vegan and gluten free treats , Allows menu altering/alternatives

Cons: As with most vegan deserts/ organic menu 💵💵💵

Slick and stylish cafe that fails on the café

Popularly known as O Café, Organic Produce Cafe is extremely hip. Set up with two levels of seating and a wide array of vegan options for both coffee and meals, the place could just about stand in as a microcosm of the Surry Hills feel. It fits its environment perfectly, and the end result is comfortable and cool. It produces a sense of being trendy just sitting there, especially in the upper level. And I'm glad for the tables at the lower level as well, providing options for disabled guests.

The coffee, unfortunately, is something of a disappointment and for any café, that's a serious hurdle to climb. My soy latté was muddy and flat tasting with no real flavour notes to speak of; in the end it simply filled the space without adding any true value to the meal. Not the worst coffee I've had, not by a long shot, but also far from the best.

On the other hand, the food selection is great. Options like vegan french toast, tofu scramble and more were on offer, and I can confirm the tofu scramble is fluffy and light as a cloud. The quality comes with a hefty price tag though; $20 for scramble and coffee.

In conclusion, it feels like a great place to sit down and have a meal — But I don't think I'd ever be getting my daily takeaway coffee here. Nor do I really think I could afford to.

Pros: Strong vegan food and milk selection, Well-executed atmosphere and decor

Cons: Mediocre coffee, Pricy, The dubiously vegan nature of organic food

Helpful and accomodating staff

We were in the area and starving - found this place on Happy Cow and although the vegan options were limited the staff were so helpful in adapting the food to our needs and checking which things were suitable that it made for a very enjoyable vegan lunch. The soup was delicious, plentiful and filling and the staff were gorgeously friendly, chatty and accomodating.

Pros: Limited vegan options but staff willing to adapt t

good vegetarian food

The food here is excellent, always fresh and I was not even aware it served meat. The menu is vegetarian focussed. My favourites are the vegetarian stir fry, the fried rice and the fish soup (when it is on the menu). Love the food here, just wish it was a little bigger. Food 9/10 service 8/10 and environment 6/10. kerryh

Not what you'd expect in a Westfield

*This review is based on the Organic Produce at Westfield Bondi Junction.
This branch of Organic Produce is not the easiest to find, because the mall it is in is so huge. It serves paninis, wraps, sandwiches, salads, savoury snacks and sweets - i.e. healthy lunch fare. Everything is clearly marked for speciality diets - GF, DF, vegan, etc. My mother and I ordered a mung-bean and a tofu panini and swapped halves. The paninis were both very tasty and filling. My omni father, on the other hand, ordered a chicken wrap and wasn't impressed - he complained it lacked flavour. We also got a chocolate cupcake to share, although this was a little dry.

Pros: Organic, Wholesome, Quick

Cons: Shopping mall location, Expensive for something quick
