Refugio vegano de montaña! Hemos probado los postres: tiramisú, pastel de manzana,una galleta con pepitas de chocolate 2 capucchinos con leche de avena y todo delicioso aunque un poco caro. Hemos pagado 24,50€ por todo.

Ai piedi del Monte Rosa, un rifugio che coraggiosamente offre una cucina interamente vegana, quando i suoi “colleghi” spesso non propongono neanche una minima opzione.

Vegan heaven in the Italian alps! - Edit
This is probably one of my favourite vegan places ever! Situated at 2600 metres of altitude with a breathtaking view of the Italian alps, this wonderful vegan restaurant and hotel never disappoints. The food is always fresh and delicious and Marta and the rest of the staff are lovely and so attentive every time I go there. You can only reach the restaurant either by skinning or with snowshoes but it’s totally worth the trek! Special mention to Chatu, the beautiful Mainecoon cat who loafs around Orestes Hutte. #Veganuary

Magical place in a wild valley above the tree line - Edit
Skinning up here on a day of thin snow and bright sunshine, I discovered a beautifully constructed haven.
Read moreBlissfully completely vegan, with a menu of freshly made dishes. The stuffed crepe was gorgeous, with a beautifully creamy stuffing. You can have fresh coffee, but also orzo, a roasted barley drink, which I had as a vanilla sofa milk cappuccino. Delicious.
Other touring skiers passed through. The lift to the peak was closed due to unusually thin snow, so I may have found it far more tranquil than in normal winters.
You can book to stay in a compact twin/triple room or 8 bunk room. Both have the amazing view.
The place is immaculate, built to a high quality with wood and stone. The bean bags in the sitting area are great for a snooze.
You can also come here in the summer to hike. There is no way here except to ski or walk.
