Tapas style dishes to share - Edit
Ordered: Brûléed Chinese Eggplant, Heirlooms, Endive Waldorf without Feta, Red Curry Glass Noodles and the Ms. Frizzle (drink)
Read moreCame with a big group and I was the only vegan. The staff was friendly helpful. The bathroom had bidets. The food came out very quickly and we were impressed by the speed. The brûléed eggplant was the first dish to arrive and it was a sweeter dish overall than I had anticipated. The heirloom tomatoes had many nice ingredients to make an interesting bite, though I personally wanted a little salt to bring the dish together. The red curry glass noodles was a cold dish and had great flavor and texture, I liked the cashews to give it a little extra crunch, the coconut shavings on top (which I had originally thought to be Parmesan cheese and almost sent the dish back) gave the dish a nice flavor but if you don’t like coconut then don’t order this dish, though I believe this dish to be my favorite. The Endive Salad was really nice and the pear slices gave each bite a sweet crunchy addition. The ms frizzle drink was nice but I think I would have been fine with just the table water. There was a vegan rice pudding dessert which I was curious about but I was pretty full and nobody else in my party was ordering desert so I skipped it. When it came time to get the check they were kind enough to split the bill three ways but make sure to pay attention to the bill, one of our checks had been charged twice as much as the other two and then when it was fixed it was to the wrong card so we had to sort it out again with ourselves. Would come back again with a group.
