Best vegan fish I’ve ever tasted

The vegan ribbon fish is possibly the best substitute I’ve had in the past decade. It’s made from tofu that Opus had brought in from Japan apparently and it’s grilled over a pile of veggies with a tomato sauce. I can’t stop thinking about it!

Pros: The vegan ribbon fish, Extremely friendly staff, Quick service

Cons: A little expensive , Slightly too attentive

Wonderful experience.

Unfortunately, they were out of the tofu fish (that one review sold me on the place!), so my husband and I both had the mixed salad for starters and the vegan shrimp w/gluten free pasta. The pasta was cooked “al dente” which is not easy with gluten free and was very good. I was not loving the shrimp, but my husband thought they were amazing. I think it was me…Kevin was out waiter and couldn’t be more charming and helpful. The ambiance was chill and festive. Next time I will try the vegan chicken.

Best vegan fish of our lives

Please do yourselves a favor and go here. Aruba has AMAZING vegan food, but the vegan fish and grilled mushroom dishes where were the best we've ever had - anywhere in the world. While the product is sold at other locations on the island, the way it's prepared here was absolutely incredible. Vegan calamari and chicken dishes were also fantastic, and there's a vegan shrimp dish as well.

The only thing better was the service. Truly made us feel like family and we hope they continue the incredible experience long into the future. While I respect why Happycow only offers 5 stars for all veggie restaurants, this was worth the rating in all aspects.

Pros: Amazing food, Best service on the island

Cons: Nothing. Go here!

Easily a 5 star rating

My husband and I had an amazing evening at Opus. We had the vegan calamari which was even better than the real thing, and I had the vegan grilled chicken. It was spectacular, you’d never know it wasn’t an actual chicken breast. And just as amazing is the atmosphere and staff. Kevin is the best. He definitely made our evening out very memorable. I’d recommend Opus not only to vegans but to everyone as they offer so many options for all palettes. My husband is pescetarian and he loved every bite of his dinner as well. 5 star rating easily!!

Pros: Vegan options, Kevin, the chef’s son, Atmosphere

Cons: Nothing

Great ambiance and vegan options!

My husband and I had a wonderful night out with delicious food and excellent service. They really went above and beyond in every way. I had the grilled mushrooms appetizer (yummy!), a vegan scampi (off menu - very good!) and the best spicy margarita that I have ever had. Highly recommend for a special night out - or when you just want to feel special! 😍

Calling all Vegans and Vegetarians

Yo, I've been vegan for 9 years and am a professionally trained chef - it takes a lot to impress me. I got the tofu ribbon fish, I'm glad they reassured me it wasn't real fish before it came out because it was the easily the closest thing I've had to fish in almost a decade.

And the service? Chef's kiss.
