Yayy for the food and craft beers. Nayy for the fact that it was a bit chilly inside. Acoustics aren’t swell since it’s in one big hall.

Vegan cheese (on the nachos) is the best ever natural tasting ... melty yumminess.

Everything is vegn in this cozy spot! The beers are amazing as well as the food. They do not have a lot of dishes, but they are quite seasonal, which we appreciated a lot :)

Eten is echt fantastisch! Super mooi, lekker, net geprijsd, top! Ingang niet alles, niet heel duidelijk, je moet door “vies gangetje met vieze toiletten” voor je binnenkomt. Hele lekkere bieren. Ontspannen sfeer. Wel koud binnen (trek dikke trui aan)

Very much recommend this place. They change their menu every month, with 3 dishes (3 entrees, 3 mains, 3 desserts). Dishes are Very good, special and still bit healthy.

Amazing vegan restaurant located in a micro brewery. In the restaurant different Oproer beers are served and also beers from other micro brewers are offered.

It's a cool place with a great variety in beers. The portions are a bit small and somewhat bland from time to time. It seems they have a chef who likes trying new things, but not all of them work out.

Menu is limited but food is amazing. Plant based and creative. Loved it. Super friendly and attentive staf. The downside is that its quite cold inside due to the high ceiling. Despite the chilly enviroment I surely recommend!

Hipster brewpub with hit-and-miss food - Edit
Decent place for a hipster beer session - we were excited to try the cheese and sausage board but I'm afraid it was disappointing. The cheeses didn't really hold together well or have cheesey texture or flavour: they would perhaps be better redesigned as "cheesecake" or suchlike. The tempeh with peanut sauce was nice though.

Oproer is a bit out of the city centre but well worth the trip. It's not that far by bike and is literally right next to the train stop Utrecht Zuilen.
Read moreThey also prepare their own beers. The restaurant is located in a cool industrial atmosphere but cosy to have a candle light dinner.
Oproer offers monthly changing menus with about 2 options for a menu. The portions are not super big but our standard duo outing is one starter, two main and one dessert to share ;)
I am always exited to see what menu they come up with every time, I am sure it'll be finger licking delicious but the originality of the dishes always blows my mind!
As many people appreciate the good Oproer food, best to reserve in advance if you want to be really sure to have a seat.
Pros: DELICIOUS vegan food, seasonal changing menu, locally produced beers
