Vaste klant - Edit
Aardig personeel, lekkere falafel. Ik kan de falafel met gegrilde groenten zeker aanraden, die is echt goed, met aubergine, bloemkool en hun eigen saus is de textuur en smaak voor wat het is perfect.

Freshest falafel out there! - Edit
I loved the food here! The fresh ingredients make it 10 times better than FLFL, and the price is even better. Recommend!

Good! - Edit
Yummy and cheap! But I didn't find the place very cozy to stay, I asked to take it away.

How can anyone choose the fries opposite of the street? - Edit
4.3 Great tasting quick meal. I like that they pack it so tightly so not everything falls out and what I had definitely is worth remembering to come back for.

Tasty Mhamara - Edit
I have liked their Mhamara as it is a bit spicy. The biggest drawback for me has been that the staff neither uses face masks nor a protective glass.

Good value for money - Edit
Would give five stars but I can't haha. Had the corona deal today, which is a flatbread with falafel and salad. Was lovely, inexpensive and very tasty. Authentic flavours. Perfect place for food on the go.

Great for a quick bite to eat - Edit
We had other appointments to go to but wanted something quick to eat in between. Came across this place which is quite small inside but it's enough for a quick meal. We had two different wraps and a small salad with falafel, both were super tasty.

Good falafel place, but not extraordinary. Ideally located for a quick snack while shopping. Be sure to mention you want it vegan. Unfortunately they also serve meat now.

Lovely syrian restaurant with really tasty falafel. It's not the prettiest place to eat, but the food is amazing and the owner is really friendly.

Good, but not extraordinary - Edit
I had a smaller sized flatbread rolled up with toppings, and was happy to find some food in the center. It was fine, but nothing spectacular.

Awesome vegan food - Edit
This place is all vegetarian (if I’m correct) with lots of vegan options. The food is really high quality and not as greasy as you would expect in other “falafel joints”. Also good price! Hope they never leave.

Great food and lovely people - Edit
The food at Op Saj is amazing. A lot of vegan options. My favorite is the Op Saj with vegetables, could eat that one every day! The owner is super friendly. The setting has more of a fastfood vibe, not really a cosy place to eat. So I would recommend taking your food to Café De Zaak just around the corner :)

Delicious Syrian 'fast food' - Edit
If you are looking for an actual veggie restaurant, this is not the place. But if you'd like to try some Syrian specialties, I would highly recommend Op Saj! The cooks are very kind, and answered a lot of our questions about the food - where it comes from, what the Syrian names mean, et cetera. I thought the food was very good!

nice - Edit
Nice falafel rolls, pizza and stuffed bread for reasonable price. Only the sweets are tiny and still cost 1 euro which is far overpriced.

A bit unimpressed: this is not really a veggie place, in philosophy at least - Edit
I was actually a bit unimpressed by this place. It looks like any other kebab joint attempting to be slick-looking, uncomfortable high stools and too narrow corridors and shelf/table included...
Read moreDesign aside, the falafel was all right, but totally non descript: I could have got that anywhere else, not have the label "syrian" and save some money (at 5 euros I thought it was rather expensive).
The food seems ok and relatively fresh, but there is just nothing special about this place and to me it seems as if it is trying to be an all around pleaser (attracting those looking for any quick fix/greasy food/hungover cure, and not looking for veggie food etc...) to increase sales, rather than being at all dedicated to veggie food.
While it can do in a desperate circumstance, as a veggie next time I would go elsewhere.
Pros: The food seems ok an relatively fresh
Cons: The food is non descript, This doesn't seem a place dedicated to vegetarians, Sitting in is uncomfortable: you must eat and go

Delicious Syrian flat breads - Edit
We wandered into Op Saj on a cold winter's day, lured in by the delicious smell and the sight of the hot grill! All of the dishes are vegetarian, and there are plenty of vegan options (and others can be modified). The two flatbreads we chose were served fresh from the pan, piping hot and very flavourful and tasty. The staff were welcoming and friendly. Perfect for a quick lunch or snack - especially in cold weather!
