Serves American diner style vegan junk food like burgers, wraps, loaded fries, fried chickn strips, and buffalo cauliflower wings, and milkshakes. Makes seitan in-house. Order via website for click and collect, and via Deliveroo. Reported closed September 2022 - permanent location at 21 Market St listed separately on HappyCow.

Decent Vegan junk food - Edit
Their junk food is good! I must say though there are a lot of vegan burgers out there these days and Oowee just doesn’t dazzle me. The chicken patty doesn’t taste much of chicken. I do love their sauces though.

Amazing vegan chick’n - Edit
Oowee was one of my favourite places in Bristol, and now we finally have it in Brighton. Their chick’n burgers are still some of the best burgers I’ve ever tried. The loaded fries are also pretty great, except the marmite fries which I really didn’t get along with. First time we ordered they gave us free tenders and sauces, which we very much appreciated!

Upon ordering from here multiple times over the years, the last two times have made me nauseous and caused me to throw up. I didn’t have this issue until I discovered the garlic butter fries. They taste amazing but they make me throw up! I have no idea what they put in there because I don’t have any intolerances, so it doesn’t make sense that I react like that. Everyone I know also get a stomach ache from this place. So yummy but so sad it makes everyone feel awful afterwards...

Big fan of Bristol's Baldwin Street Oowee so tried this branch with high expectations and they lived up to it. My favourite is The Other Side Chick burger, love those pickled pink onions!

Simple fast food - Edit
I had the Oowee Burger and the Shrimp fries. The burger came with a Beyond patty, which was somehow overcooked and tough (did not know that this was even possible). The shrimp fries tasted a bit tasteless. I‘d probably give some of the other burgers a shot next time.
