Delicious and wholesome - Edit
Great food and lovely staff. I had the moussaka which had a lot of lovely spicy flavours, and then Snickers bar which I enjoyed. The mains were a good size, filling and nutritious

Yummy treats - Edit
We didn’t try their savory dishes, but took some sweet treats as takeaway and let me tell you - they didn’t disappoint! We tried their blueberry scone, peanut and pecan slice and chocolate brownie. All which were very very delicious! Especially after giving them a spin in the microwave to warm them up a bit😄

Hearty home style food - Edit
It was nice going to a Cafe that is entirely vegan. You will have a selection from what is in the fridge for that day, when I went it was salads, curries, lasagne, shepherds pie and some others. I chose the lasagne and orange salad, which were yummy. I also had a fresh squeezed apple, carrot, orange and ginger juice. You can make your own combination from the fruit in the store. I was hoping that there would be some bulk/wholefoods to buy as suggested, but they didn't have any at the time. There was a few organic fruit and veg options to buy and lots of vegan cheeses and snacks in the fridge though! And there's also a bunch of gift type things to buy from local or ethical makers.

Cons: Was expecting more bulk foods available to buy, Small choice of foods (not always a bad thing!)

Lovely lunch after a wonderful walk - Edit
Had the chana dal - it was a great portion. Perfectly cooked soft brown rice. The dal could have been more flavourful with spices though, it was quite plain, probably to satisfy people who have spice sensitivities though. Filled me up just enough to not be so full I was sick. I also ordered a lasagne and pasta bake to take home, good portion size, good flavours. Perfect comfort food.
Read moreThe actual cafe has a nice atmosphere, casual, relaxed, good selection of bulk items, fresh produce too. (Also sells knick knacks, second hand items, jewellery and clothing) I highly recommend the fresh juices, they are beautiful.

Thank god this has survived - Edit
With so many of the completely vegan places between Soringwood snd Lithgow closing, thankfully this little gem has survived. Casual, friendly, old-style-grocer vibe. Delicious salads, homemade cakes and biscuits. You can even stick up on vegan groceries you have to travel across Sydney for - eg vegan cheeses, chocolates, etc. Great fresh sourdough and organic veg to buy. Easy Parking at rear.
Read morePros: Lots of daily specials, salads yummy and fresh, Pies delicious and in a pie warmer for crispness , Coffee is great
Cons: Struggling to find any, Nup, I’m out, Only a few tables, but we’ve never had a problem
