Serves meat, vegan options available. Small family run place on Kalymnos that cooks with natural ingredients and house-made dishes. One of few places in the area that understands what vegan means. Dishes are prepared with locally sourced ingredients. Vegan options include falafel balls served with home fried potatoes, salad, house-made pita bread & hummus and veggie souvlaki. Reported April 2017 that the owner also wants to introduce vegan burger in near future.

We kept going back for the falafel pita! - Edit
Really nice falafel pitas for €3.5, great portion. Lots of other vegan options available too (a separate menu for vegans/vegetarians). Images of falafel pita, falafel plate and tabouleh salad.

Best vegan budget option in town - Edit
The falafel has fresh vegetables inside, is freshly made and good even compared to Berlin falafel. Our other recommendation is the green salad. The staff is friendly and you have an amazing view of Telendos. And it's cheap!

Fair enough - Edit
It is not the best place for vegans, but they have nice view. Falafel was not something special. They have only the basics for vegans but at least they know what vegan means. Don't be surprised but they serve a lot of meat around. They have to try harder to attracted more vegans.

Cons: Nothing very special, only the very common stuff

Sweet owner and speak very good English. The pita breads with falafel and humus and fresh vegetables was the best. Good taste and looked as good as it tasted. Can fully recommend this place. Thanks a lot. 🤣

Super delicious Falafel's - Edit
YUMMM!!!!! I rarely eat food that has been fried but On The Road does such a great job that my stomach is always happy afterwards. The pita, and hummus are excellent! That with a cold beer overlooking the clear blue Aegean Sea at sunset. Only problem is that you might want to eat here every night!!! I recommend the Falafel plate. Bring your own to go box as they are generous.

Best falafels in town - Edit
This street food cafe in Massouri is really nice! The owner is friendly and speaks good English, and they make their own home made falafels, pita breads and hummus. Everything is fresh and really good! Go here for the best falafels in town :)
