great cakes - Edit
So the cakes here are a bit expensive, but they are really good. Since going vegan I missed sometimes having a cake with whipped cream/ lot of cream, but here you have a lot of cakes like these. They are not overly sweet which is also great, as cakes in Vienna tend to be too much for me.

Cons: none, they even deliver

Gute Torten - Edit
Ich habe schon mehrmals hier Torte gekauft. Geschmacklich gut, aber nicht außergewöhnlich. Dafür finde ich es zu teuer.

Very tasty! - Edit
Great variety of vegan cakes and everything looks so tasty. Black Forest cake, raspberry cheesecake and coffee were really delicious. Outdoor seating is quite small and besides a busy road.

Fantastic - Edit
Currently living almost next door to this place and that’s dangerous! Picked up the chocolate cake and black forest cake and wow, absolutely loved them. My husband is German and cake is in his DNA but I rarely bake, so this is perfect for us. Place is tiny but there are a few seats to stay and eat in but we choose to take home and make a nice tea and coffee to relax and eat the cakes slowly and indulgently. You can also order whole cakes and tailor them to your needs as gluten free / sugar free if you wish. Friendly staff each time I’ve been in and you can see and taste the care and attention that goes into making these cakes. There are also some breads and other baked goods including gluten free.
Read morePros: Fully vegan bakery and even some gluten free, Nice variety of beautiful looking cakes, Perfect level of sweetness for our taste
Cons: Not much seating so more a shop to take away

Good place for vegan cake - Edit
Tiny bakery offering a lot of different vegan cakes and pastries, some more expensive, some less. They also sell bread but stick to the cake ... also be warned that it has basically no seating so take-away only!
Read moreI've tried many cakes from Oma's Backstube and I always enjoy them, you can also order whole cakes for a party etc. Staff is usually friendly and helpful. Sadly they do not accept card, cash only. Make sure to come by early because sometimes they're sold out quickly.
Pros: huge variety of plant based cake
Cons: Partly overpriced, no seating, cash only

Some good things but very expensive - Edit
5 star for the cakes, which between 3-4 euro beats most restaurants and even many average bakeries. The bread is very expensive at about 2 euro for just a small hand roll. I got a baguette style loaf to try and thought it was just ok not good for the price nearly. The carrot cake was excellent, chocolate very good, apple also ok, and the cheesecake was good but didn’t taste sweetened at all—perhaps a special diabetic cake that I was not informed? They seem to never wash hands between handling money and food, which could turn some people off. Also cash only. Best for takeaway as it’s not an ideal place to sit and enjoy.

Cons: Expensive bread, Cash only, Don’t wash hands

Amazing! - Edit
This place was definitely my highlight of Vienna!
Read moreFirst of all, it's entirely vegan but has soooo many cakes and pastries! Several are also sugar-free and gluten-free.
I had a piece of the sugar-free chocolate cake which was probably the best vegan cake I've ever had! I loved it so much that I took another piece home along with a cinnamon bun and a vanilla bun. Everything was delicious, and the only reason I didn't go back was that I didn't want to overdo it with sweets on my trip.
Sadly, the place is quite small. You definitely have enough space to quickly eat a piece of cake, but it would be even better if there were at least one or two tables here. The owner is really friendly, and even though it's not a cheap bakery, it's definitely worth the money if you think about the effort and time that goes into making such lovely sweets.
Pros: Excellent cakes and pastries, Friendly staff, Sugar-free and gluten-free options
Cons: Too small

Delicious cakes - Edit
We came here in search of delicious vegan baked goods and we were not disappointed! The choice was great and I was impressed to see traditional Austrian fare as well as more generic stuff.
Read moreUnfortunately there is very little seating and it was busy so we had to eat our cake at the bus stop in the freezing cold😒we also thought it was a bit pricey, but ultimately worth it if you can’t be bothered to bake your own vegan things at home.
Pros: Many options including traditional Austrian food , Healthier recipes than other places
Cons: On the pricey side, Hardly any seating
