We love this place and could not believe it when we walked in - Edit
We expected something a bit disappointing when we pulled off the freeway at Wyong but were surprised. Lots vegan options. (they had more but unfortunately sales were apparently not good enough to keep buying vegan/vege options so they can go back to their roots) Still, lots vegan and vege options.

Great highway stop spot - Edit
Burger was surprisingly good (and very filling), the sweet potato fries a bit too soft for my liking. They also sold coyo ice cream, an absolute bonus. Staff was friendly and you could order via these huge tablet thingies as well. So all in all a good place to have a break from driving.

Great coffee and food - Edit
Lots of food options, all healthy-ish. A refreshing option from the usual hot chips on road trips. Easy to park and easy to find. I find that the wait can be a little long, and the prices are sometimes a bit extreme.

Great food - Edit
Always super happy to see an Oliver’s on the freeway. Healthy and yummy vegan options available. I always get the nuggets and curry! It is expensive though.

Get the soup - Edit
Bought the veggie patch which was very average. Didn’t have enough flavour. We also had the veggie korma soup and that was delicious! :)

Good selection - Edit
Has a variety of vegan foods, even vegan dog treats. Food is mediocre though. But better than 99% of other reststops. Had the „burrito“.

Overpriced road stop - Edit
Your options are always gonna be limited on the freeway. But even so, Olivers is... mediocre.
Read moreEverything is overpriced. While they do have some vegan options (recently expanded, which earns them an extra star) and a very decent array of vegetarian options, a large amount of the menu is still meat based. Their coffee is naff. And they used to champion how good their restrooms were and they're really just average at best. (No really, that used to be a selling point for them.)
On the other hand, if you're vegan, you need food, and you're on the freeway, what else are you gonna do?
If you just want a coffee, hit up McDonalds. It's just as good, cheaper, and McCafe does soy milk. But if you need some nosh, you could do worse than Oliver's.
Pros: Vegan options in a market that usually has none, Has stevia available if that's your thing
Cons: Overpriced

Great pit stop for vegans! - Edit
Big interior and inviting, modern decor. Was very pleased with the menu, it has it's own clear vegan section, so picking your meal is very quick. Unfortunately for us, the veg pita pockets were sold out, but I'll never get upset with a vegan item being sold out! The protein and antixodant smoothies we purchased were very tasty and filling, and the pumpkin soup was very delicious. Overall, having a non-vegan store that knows what a vegan is, and provides us with a confusion-less menu is a winner for me. Side note, their tvs had a constant stream of nutrition awareness footage playing, I found it a nice change.

roadside food you can actually eat - Edit
Roadside/fuel stops are a culinary wasteland in Australia. Olivers at Wyong uniquely offers organic food, which thankfully also translates into vego, vegan, healthy stuff that a happy cowist would eat (the organic food here also includes meat).
Read moreGawk and be amazed there's a roadside alternative to aging meat pies, clown burgers and southern tortured chicken.
Get a cup of green beans (not old greasy chips), and gourmet vegan pita pocket.
I've been here a few times, and also enjoyed the juices and gluten-free chocolate brownie, which is quite rich and dense.
Coffee, tea etc.
Everything seems about 20% overpriced, but it's organic, so that costs more, right?
Also DVDs and other propaganda for the food-peace cause.
These Caltex fuel stops are on either side of the motorway, for northbound and southbound traffic. Oliver's is duplicated at both.
Pros: healthy, location, clean
Cons: slightly but forgivably overpriced
