Omg! I’m really picky about vegan places, this place gets 5 stars. Chef is so dope, employees are friendly, Chefs the aunty you never knew you needed. Food was spectacular and didn’t taste vegan. Mind blowing! Just magical! Go there and instantly want to stay there.

My first visit to Oliver's Twist will not be my last! Vegan soul food is hard to come by and this place did not disappoint. The food is served from a hot bar, but is very fresh. They have a revolving menu, but there are usually two vegan entree choices and two non-vegan choices. My pescatarian hubby got the stuffed fish entree which he said was delicious. I got the vegan oxtails(seitan), which came with saffron rice and THREE additional sides. The portions are huge, which makes up for the fact that it's on the pricey side for a casual cafe w/o table service. I have enough leftover for a whole other meal!

This place is cafeteria style, with half of the line being entirely vegan. It's clearly marked and separated from the non vegan side. There's a rotating menu, with 2 different main dishes and an assortment of sides to choose from each day. If you get the platter, you get to pick one main dish and 3 sides. The staff is friendly and helpful, portions are huge, and everything is so, so good! You definitely need to try this place, and once you try it, you'll be back often!!

First off, the vegan mac & cheese here is to die for as well as their apple pie cookies! I got the vegan beefsteak with Mac and cheese, rice, candied yams and corn bread. The cornbread was amazing! All of it was. My dad even got the vegan meatballs and he LOVED it as someone who isn’t vegan himself.
