Lovely meal - good for gluten free - Edit
The menu is clearly marked for vegans and they keep fryers gluten free which is amazing for those of us with that restriction. I really enjoyed the banana blossom fish and chips.

Gorgeous location - Edit
Gorgeous location on the canalside. Multiple vegan options. Understaffed and we were lucky to get a table at 5pm. Lots of people were turned away or had to wait. We shared focaccia and olives with cider to start. I had the superfood salad main. It was delicious and well balanced with roasted cashews and a nice green dressing. It was described as containing quinoa as the first ingredient so I was expecting a bed of quinoa but I couldn’t detect any quinoa. It would not have been enough as a main course had I not had had a bread starter. Other options included burger, ‘fish’ n chips, pasta etc. friendly service.

Very Pleasant - Edit
Pretty spot on the wharf, lovely atmosphere inside and out. We enjoyed the banana blossom and chips, as recommended by other reviewers. On our second visit, we tried the curry which was tasty, although might have benefited from an accompaniment or two (chutney, poppaddom, bread, etc?) The only downsides are that they seem to struggle with a reasonable service time when they are very busy (they did have the courtesy to let us know there would be a delay, which was good) and they appear to be at the mercy of technology as they input food orders on a device which I think dictates the preparation in strict sequence, which could explain why my glass of wine, that I ordered as an afterthought to my main course, arrived when I had finished my main course??? Overall, we'd recommend the place for plenty of good vegan and veggie food on the menu and ambience.

Nice food, mixed service - Edit
Ordered a vegan burger and my meat eating dad ordered a beef burger. Our server was clearly still on training or having a bad day as he confirmed that he was handing the chickpea burger to me, yet when I cut into it and almost ate it it was meat!! We also were left without cutlery for a whole because the server forgot about us. Would definitely get them to double check if you have vegan and Omni orders on the same table!!!

This is the first time I’ve used this app and it worked so well in finding somewhere serving delicious vegan grub. I had the vegan fish and chips and not only was the portion massive but they were divine! #Veganuary

Best vegan fish & chips! - Edit
Huge portion of banana blossom battered brilliantly, with tartare sauce, fab chips and peas. Sat by the canal with plenty of room, our dogs were made very welcome and shared a portion of chips. Absolutely delicious!

Brekky - Edit
Eaten here many times and always enjoyed the vegan options. Yesterday we sat outside in the sunshine and I had a ‘small’ vegan breakfast, have to say it was the loveliest vegan brekky I’ve ever eaten! Lovely coffee with oat milk too.

Great vegan fish and chips - Edit
We sat outside due to COVID precautions and dogs not being allowed inside at this time, but staff were really present and helpful checking if certain items on the menu were vegan for us (tartare sauce/hot choc powder). We got the fish and chips and normally I’m not the biggest fan of banana blossom, but turns out I’ve just not had it cooked well before as this was so so nice! Had the hot chocolate too with oat milk which was also great. Would really recommend!

Amazing vegan menu, would rate 5 star! - Edit
Found this little beauty, totally worth a visit, we sat outside with dog, loads of benches waited for half an hour to get a table well worth it! Although if you haven’t got a dog you could reserve table inside! Had it’s own vegan menu, I had vegan fish and chips and my partner had pulled pork tacos! Delish! Would defo come again!
