Amazing vegan food - Edit
Incredible food and committed to veganism. Feels impressively fancy especially given their somewhat awkward location right now in the old mall. The mains are all very solid, with big portions and creative menu options, but the desserts are the highlight! Do not miss the tiramisu!
Read moreThe servers have always been so kind and friendly. They also have a coffee and dessert bar tucked behind the restaurant further into the mall. Oleum is awesome! You will leave very full and very happy!

The Best! - Edit
An altogether fabulous experience--the food, the staff, the ambience! I especially appreciated that everything is made from scratch onsite. I find most restaurant food to be excessively oily and salty, but the soup and salad that I ordered were delicately spiced and satisfying without weighing me down. Also, there were many gluten-free options. Will definitely return!

A new favorite! - Edit
I had their calzone, the one that has pesto, just delicious! I also had a few of their lattes over the few days I was in the area. So much fun trying different flavored lattes. Now anytime I go to Baltimore, this is a must!

No flavor - Edit
I was very disappointed by this experience. I ordered the vodka pasta and the Alfredo and both were absolutely flavorless. We asked if they had seasonings…. They did not. Sad to have wasted so much money on food I could’ve made better if I had made it myself. The staff was nice but I would not recommend coming here.

Great for vegans and friends - Edit
Was happy to find Oleum on Happy Cow — would never suspect such a gem is inside this mall-like building. It is super close to the convention center and Inner Harbor hotels. The food was delicious and is the type of food that non-vegan friends will enjoy. The Cannellini Tapa was rich, hearty, and delicious and could be a meal itself for lunch with the accompanying flatbread. The Mushroom &Leek Risotto had layers of great flavors. The small plate is more than enough if you had an app. The dessert menu is a goldmine for vegans! The owner was there and was on top of things, making sure her team was tending to tables and properly preparing and presenting plates. Very friendly and chatty.

I would marry Oleum - Edit
Oleum
Read moreI texted at least five people about Oleum. It was probably the best meal I’ve ever had. The flavor, quality of ingredients, freshness, service, everything was top notch.
There were so many things we wanted to try on the menu, we agreed to come back before we even experienced the food.
Our server Benu was so personable and had the best recommendations. He and the chef made accommodations to my allergies without making sacrifices to flavor. He informed us we could do half and half on pizzas and the two flavors he recommended (Toum Raider & Firestarter) were out of this world delicious. Benu was so attentive, he seemed destined to make sure we had a great experience. We were so appreciative of him! The chef also came out and introduced herself after we ate our pizza and she was so sweet and interested in our opinions. Of course we had nothing to offer except that it was perfect. I was interested to learned she was a midwesterner, like myself.
We started the meal with two lattes. I had a raspberry latte that reminded me of everything valentines day, and my husband who ordered a plain latte got talked into the cookie butter latte and raved about it. No regrets (thank you Benu).
Next we had the ravioli which was definitely fresh pasta and I liked that it was pan fried on the bottom. The flavors were refreshing.
The toum raider had the most amazing cheese I’ve ever had, the kale was fresh and crisp (I’ve never even liked kale) and the garlic was so tasty. The firestarter had spicy Calabrian chilis (but Benu kept our water full constantly) and a delicious italian sausage. At this point we are way past full. But after seeing how talented the chef was I definitely had to have dessert.
Neither of us have ever liked tiramisu but we trusted Benu and we are so glad we did. Drop everything you know about the freezer burned tiramisu that most restaurants serve and you will be in for a treat.
I don’t have one complaint. The packaging and items used during service seemed environmentally conscious, the restaurant is right on the water and the inside is so charmingly designed. I had even messaged Oleum and they gave me advice on where to park (came from out of state to see them). I grabbed parking for $3 and it was a 5 minute walk. I hope to visit many, many times. Thank you so much!
Pros: Amazing taste, Great service, 100% vegan

Super friendly team and amazing food! - Edit
Super friendly staff! The food is all vegan and amazing! I tried the Toum raider pizza which was phenomenal. The carrot cake was also delicious! I had the rose cardamom chai - which had a very weak flavour and wouldn’t have that again. All the menu looked incredible and I can’t wait to go back to try more!!! Perfectly situated at the harbour.

I accidentally found this place when I went to the Baltimore Christmas Market. Plenty of good options to choose from, fast service. Best pumpkin soup I've ever had and the cheese sandwich was delicious. Will definitely be back.

Oleum was so good. Even the next day as leftovers. The staff was super helpful if anything was confusing or wrong on the delivery platform. I went to pick up food one time. Next time I will sit in. The restaurant was super quaint, cute, and popular.

Local, plant-based food at the Harbor?!?! - Edit
This place was delicious. I had the chicken pesto wrap, which at first I thought would be overwhelmed by the greens, but thst was not the case. It was light and refreshing. Our table split the shishito peppers, which we all highly recommend. My friends got pasta dishes that were delicious and another sandwich. We were blown away by the quality of the food and how it did not leave us feeling heavy at all. Please patronize this place, we need to keep this vegan gem in Baltimore!

Absolutely delicious! - Edit
My partner and I had dinner here for the first time and it definitely will not be the last! Our server Bean was fantastic — attentive, funny, knowledgeable and gave great recommendations. We shared the pumpkin soup, kale caeser, and Nonna’s pizza. All were fresh and tasty. The tiramisu we ordered for dessert at Bean’s recommendation should be illegal it’s so good. Give it to a non-vegan, I promise they won’t be able to tell the difference! The restaurant is currently conveniently located in the lobby of one of the Harborplace pavilions, but I believe they will eventually be relocating to another spot in the area. Oleum is well worth your time, whether you’re a local or visiting Baltimore. And take your non-vegan friends, they’ll be amazed!

Food is so delicious ! - Edit
The kale Cesar salad was incredibly fresh and tangy and the creamy noodles were so mouthwatering and savory. Just overall a flavor sensation. Only con here was a waitress that was kinda mean mugging my dad and I. And they did give my dad the wrong item which was a wrap instead of a panini. Regardless, the dishes were tasty so we left tip and decided not to make a big deal out of it. Oh and at least the other waitress was sweet and friendly

Grilled Chickn Panini - Edit
Oleum is (at this time) a downtown vegan restaurant right on Baltimore Harbor. It is mere blocks from the convention center, and I ate five meals there once I discovered it. Note that the building they are in will be torn down, so they may be on the move in a few months. Worth finding them. I loved their grilled Chickn panini with sundried tomatoes, pesto, and melty cheese. I ate three of them over 4 days. For those who don’t like “fake meat or cheese” they have tasty options like their seasonal pumpkin soup with red lentils, a Caesar salad with seasoned chickpeas, and a variety of pizzas.
Read moreThey also have great desserts! I savored a carrot cake bowl over several nights, they have giant fresh-baked cookies, amazing coffee cake, and more. I appreciate an independent restaurant that isn’t afraid of garlic or spice and gets creative with their menu. The staff is enthusiastic about the menu. Pro-tip: take their advice!
I’m writing this as I head back to the airport, having just finished another melty grilled Chickn panini. I may dream about this sandwich
Pros: Grilled Chickn Panini!, Knowledgeable and enthusiastic staff , Dessert selections
Cons: Will be in the move - hope they can stay downtown, No breakfast (yet?)

Deliciousness - Edit
Wow, so happy to find this all vegan restaurant while visiting Baltimore. Service was excellent, I had a pesto pasta dish with mushrooms and it was delicious. I had hummus for dessert (they have a great dessert menu but I wanted to try the hummus) with flat bread and it was yummy. I sat at the bar and got to see all the dishes go out, the pizza looks sooo good! I will have to come back again while I’m in town. A must visit! I can’t imagine anyone giving this small business a 1 or 2 star review. The food was great and the menu had a lot of great options. Almost everything is made in-house. I wish them huge success! They’ve only been open for several weeks and hiring lots of employees and getting everything perfect takes time but I had zero issues. I am sensitive to salt because I don’t eat it normally, but my dish did not taste salty at all.

Way too SALTY, and very slow - Edit
Waited over 30’ for a to go order of the spicy Italian panini. It was not very spicy but oh my it was so salty, something was very wrong with that sandwich, it was almost inedible. I kept picking out ingredients trying to figure out what was bringing the salt, but whatever it was, it was hopelessly infused into the sandwich. 😜

Hi again, because this review is also on google, I will just share my same response. If you're ever in Baltimore again hopefully your next visit will be better. - Thank you for your feedback. I remember your visit and the conversation with our server about which items would come out fastest. The server checked with me to make sure she informed you correctly on what would be the fastest and those were our salads and wraps, not the panini. That day was one of our busiest since opening (9 weeks ago), and, with a small kitchen, we had a bit of a wait for certain items, like our paninis, which are made fresh and can only be prepared two at a time. We appreciated everyone's patience that day as we navigated this unusually busy service.
Read moreRegarding the saltiness, we season our veggies lightly with just a pinch of salt for the paninis, but our house-made pepperoni and spicy sausage are naturally saltier ingredients. We carefully measure each component to ensure consistent quality, but I understand that salt sensitivity varies. If you’d like to try the panini again, we’re happy to leave out the pinch of salt on request and can add extra Calabrian chilis for more heat.
While a 30-minute wait isn’t our typical timing, it can happen on especially busy days, and we’re always working to get orders out as quickly as possible while maintaining quality. We hope to welcome you back and provide a smoother experience on your next visit. Thanks again for sharing your thoughts. -Chef Adibe
