I was looking forward to trying the beyond burger and GF bun that are labeled vegan but they were out of the burgers at lunchtime on a Saturday, very disappointing. The vinegar slaw was good though. Overall atmosphere was great and there was live music

Very Cool Vibe, and Some Vegan Options - Edit
Although there aren't too many vegan options in terms of food, it still is a very cool place to be, and the food we did get was very good! You have a couple of different Impossible burger variations to choose from, and I believe a few different salad options. Going during live music was awesome! The waitstaff are kind and if you order a drink you can choose between either a 20 oz souvenir glass or 20 oz jar to take home!

There wasn't too many options and I forgot to take a photo. I had the Impossible burger with homemade tots. Their fries and tots are yummy. Small portions but quality food and clearly marked Vegan or Vegetarian.

Beyond burger was ok. The bun was very dry since the only vegan bun seemed to be the gluten free one. Ordered without cheese and put ketchup on instead. Both the fries (that came with cheese sauce) and the taters weren’t vegan so I ordered the vinegar slaw as a side instead.

This is my favorite dinner spot in Gatlinburg. Live music is fun and the vegan food works for me (beyond burger, vegan salad with white beans, taco salad with beyond crumbles ).

No vegan ranch :( - Edit
Only labeled vegan option was a vinegar cole slaw. I appreciate them labeling the menu but it wasn't very helpful. They didn't even label the beyond burger as vegan even though obviously it is, lol. The waitress seemed very confused when I asked about the cashew ranch, checked for me, and said they didn't have it. I would assume their fries are vegan (ask for no cheese sauce) and their fried pickles & green tomatoes (labeled vegetarian, not vegan... But unless there's milk in the breading idk what would make them non vegan...they are served with ranch--i wonder if that's why it's not labeled vegan). They always have live music and their mocktails are DELISH. It was a very fun vibe and has some vegan options but it's nothing extraordinary.

Vegan burger and great atmosphere - Edit
Ordered the “Blue Tick Burger” with Beyond Burger patty substitute option. Also a side of vinegar slaw that we added to the burger for flavour (thanks to the suggestion of another reviewer!). Burger tasty. Bun was ok, but just a sugar bun. Good option for a central location in town. We were excited to enjoy some live music with dinner.

Had Beyond Burger Substitute - Edit
They had the beyond burger which could be substituted for beef. I also appreciated that they labeled what was vegetarian and vegan on the menu. I saw on here that they had vegan cheese at one point but they don’t have it anymore. The staff was also very friendly and there was live music. Overall I’m really happy with the experience especially because I live in a small town so I don’t go to many places with vegan options very often. #Veganuary

There’s a stage that had a live band when we were there, which was fun. Beyond burger was standard, but we were getting a bit tired of veggie burgers by that point. The tots are house-made and really good!

Beyond burger is available and it was good. I added the vinegar slaw and that gave it a little more flavor. Menu is at least clearly marked vegan which is nice. Beer sucked though.

I'm sure this is better than some restaurants in the area, but this place was so depressing. I thought maybe there was some hope. It's only a burger and fries, I don't think there's any vegan dressing for the salad. They make you buy the glass like many other restaurants in the area.

Great service and very polite. Unfortunately they no longer have any cheese substitutes and there is an additional upcharge for beyond meat but there are limited options for vegans here in Gatlinburg. There's live music and the atmosphere feels great.

Not a ton of vegan options, but it was a nice place to eat while visiting Gatlinburg. It was a $3 charge to upgrade to the Beyond Burger. No cheese substitutes, but it was a decent burger! The live music was wonderful and made the meal and price worth it.

Yet another stop off the Appalachian Trail, seeing the reviews on Happy Cow and thinking there was a Beyond Burger. We get there and ask the waitress about the Nacho burger, which they don’t even have anymore. They do offer the Beyond Burger, however we would have to take everything off of it AND be charged an extra $4 for less! Plus, the waitress told us that they served Velveeta cheese on everything. She came back and said that the cheese was “totally vegan free.” 🙄 We got up and left immediately.

Very excited based on reviews but it was a big let down. We came at off peak hours so not too busy but our food took a very long time to come out. When it did finally arrive, everything was cold. Cold fries, cold tots, burger (and very thin patty) was cold as was the cheese sauce. Cashew ranch way over salted. I appreciate a vegan options but they did not execute the product well.

Vegan options can be hard to come by in Gatlinburg, so I was surprised to find out that this place had a few options on their menu. I half expected them to phone it in with their burger, but I was wrong. It was fantastic! Cooked perfectly. I will definitely be back if I find myself in Gatlinburg again sometime. Just a note that the day we visited, they were definitely serving the Beyond Burger and not the Impossible as described in some previous reviews. They may have made a change recently.

I was so excited to find out that Ole Red offers a vegan burger! The nacho cheese is INCREDIBLE and the atmosphere is fun. We went on an evening when there was a live band. I definitely suggest checking the website to see if there will be a live band during your stay, it’s worth it. 🎤

We decided to Try Ol Red while visiting Tennessee and, oh my goodness!! The "Nacho" Average Vegan Burger was one of the most amazing things I have ever tasted. We are planning our trip back to Tennessee and the first thing I thought of was that burger. If you are in the area I would definitely suggest you try it!
