Absolutely amazing must stop - Edit
I got really confused by the online ordering (totally me overthinking) so I asked questions when I got in and all the staff were the most kind and helpful people I've ever met. The man in charge is just absolutely phenomenal and was so accommodating when I ended up making changes to my order. The list of vegan friendly options is just endless too. Their menu is huge!!! I absolutely loved this place and cannot wait to go back. This would be 5 stars if I could!!

Good vegan options - Edit
Numerous vegan options, clearly marked on separate vegan menu, good sized portions, moderate prices. Upcharge for vegan cheese, sour cream. Clean, socially distanced seating, clean unisex bathrooms.

I started eating here in 2013 bc they had vegan rice and beans, and a smoked tofu protein option. I moved away and came back to see they had drastically expanded their vegan options, which has won them my business whenever I return to Oakland. I still stick to the tofu bc it has a special place in my heart but their meat crumbles and soyrizo are good according to my friends. The sour cream is a good addition but I don’t recommend the cheese (texture is very strange). My favorite dish to order is their burrito bowl, bc I can eat it with the complementary chips they offer.

They had probably the longest list of vegan mexican food offered from any other restaurant I’ve been to! I tried their vegan protein burritos with the seitan and was very satisfied with it!

4 Page Fully Vegan Menu! - Edit
For a neighborhood non-vegan burrito shop, this place clearly stands out in all of the Bay Area for making the vegans feels at home! Their website puts vegan options front and center, and who else can claim to have a four page menu of exclusively vegan items? We tried the enchiladas with sauteed seitan that was outstanding, plus four different tacos, each with a different veggie meat (the soyrizo and seitan were special standouts). And the prices are very reasonable. When we're looking for an alternative to Flaco's, this place is now top of the list.

Best veg burritos in Oakland! - Edit
I’ve been here a couple of times now and they always deliver on their vegan burritos. The staff are super knowledgeable about vegan options and it’s so refreshing. I recommend the super veg burrito w/ chik’in strips. Highly recommend!

They have really scaled up their vegan selections. I love that it’s an authentic style burrito shop with abundant vegan dishes and protein choices. That includes seasoned tofu, jackfruit, and soyrizo. They even have vegan shrimp and ceviche. They have vegan cheese and sour cream, AND the refried beans are vegan (lard free). Plus their salsas are magnificent, def try the red and green.

There is an entire vegan menu, this takes up a large swath of the food options and might honestly be considered the best a place can do without going full on vegan.

Every side sauce I got was basically too hot for me to handle, but my tollerence is pretty low.

Seems from my initial visit and short look at the menu they offer the full taqueria assortment prepared vegan... The short look due to catching the burrito mojado and leaping to the order station to put in for my old favorite... Havent had one since starting vegan 6 years ago.. I was soo happy to relive that...

Literally the best burritos we have ever eaten...and fully vegan!!!! Incredible! - Edit
The staff were so knowledgeable about vegan food and offered vegan proteins that I have never tasted before. They even have vegan eggs! The food is so delicious and creative. I was completely amazed and full of gratitude. I asked the cook, named Faisao, to surprise me with a dream vegan burrito and boy did he deliver....it was creative and spectacular!
