Limited options, but good food - Edit
We had visited the restaurant after seeing eruption of Old Faithful. Had limited options of vegetarian and vegan food and that was obvious because of its location and so was the price. Seating area is very big and offers nice view.

(plant) Based bowls - Edit
There's one part of the Cafeteria that has a beyond burger pattie that can be served with veggies and a side of choice but none of the sides are vegan. The other part has bowls with rice, stir fried veggies that were good, gardein chicken and sauce toppings. It was good, hot and not dry.

It's often a miss for vegan options - Edit
The Lodge Cafeteria offers a great view of Old Faithful. Over the years it's been hit or miss. Previously they would publish a menu online, but for 2022 they seem to have gotten away from that. In August 2022 they had a Gardein Chick'n rice bowl as an evening option. Before approaching the food scooper folks, there was an allergen list with vegan items clearly marked. They thought the Gardein was "tofu" and that's close enough. It was set apart from the animal products reducing cross contamination. Prices and food quality are normal National Park stuff, nothing amazing but works in a pinch. The General Store further south has a basic grocery store with other emergency food options, nothing amazing but basic calories.

Pros: Amazing view of Old Faithful, They listed allergens, vegan items were marked , I didn't get ill from eating it
Cons: Expensive for what you get, You're at the mercy of a limited selection, Let's face it, you're not there for the food.

Nothing here is vegan except for a spinach salad and hummus, which is not enough for a meal. They have a black bean burger and a vegetable soup, and somehow neither are vegan?? Not sure why ...

We were really happy to find a hot vegan meal. There was chilli, stew and soup. food was fine and quite cheap. Apparently there are vegan options at the resturant in the Old Faithful Inn a short walk from there.

Good Options for Vegans/Vegetarians - Edit
We were pleasantly surprised to find this cafeteria at Yellowstone with so many selections and at reasonable prices (being in a park and all). Plus the food was delicious and substantial. They had great healthy choices and good comfortable seating with a view of Old Faithful! All in all we were very happy to eat here.
