Good Vegan Burger

We appreciated the opportunity to get a Beyond Burger at a nice bar & grill close to home. The only vegan option among the significant handful of sides offered was coconut rice, but it was really tasty. Sadly, there are multiple other things that could be vegan with only a tiny shred of sensitivity. For example “steamed broccoli” is not vegan & the restaurant claims it is impossible to serve it vegan, despite the fact that it is steamed to order, because the entire day’s batch is buttered before anyone orders. If you want a vegan burger & rice, it will be yummy. If you go, lobby for more offerings.

Pros: Great vegan burger, Great coconut rice

Cons: They LOVE butter—vet ingredients carefully, Unnecessary use of animal fat
