Limited Vegan Options & Beer - Edit
The limited options were few, but we were happy they had any. We ordered the vegan flatbread, the beet salad and some plain fries. The flatbread was actually really good. The beet salad came out with blue cheese which was super disappointing since it was clearly labeled as vegan.
Read moreThere was so much potential for having more vegan options…like with mushroom tacos which could have easily been made vegan by using a vegan batter to fry the mushrooms. Also educating their staff about not adding cheese when an item is clearly labeled as vegan.

Decent in a pinch, but the options for vegan items were limited, and they did not have any of the salads the day we visited, due to not receiving a produce shipment. Food we did have was alright, but not great.

Really liked the vibe of this place. Self-seating and you order drinks and food from the bartender, so you can sit right away. They will pour drinks for you on the spot, and the food came out quickly (we went on a weeknight so not too busy). Tons of outdoor and indoor seating. So many cool drink options (beer, hard cider, hard tea, hard kombucha) that are available in 4 oz sizes so you can taste to your heart's content. Staff was really friendly. The ulu falafel was outstanding - maybe better than conventional falafel? - and the toum sauce on the falafel and fries is so yummy and garlicky! The veggie flatbread was also good. Prices were expensive like everywhere else on island, but we had plenty to eat. I prefer this brewery to Kona Brewery because there are more vegan options here.

The beloved Tofu Sandwich is gone. They now have 3 salad options, one flatbread, and fries. They seem to be updating their menu frequently, so check back often.

The heart of palms “ceviche” was amazing. - Edit
Several salad options. The heart of palm ceviche was very good and had a bright flavor. We also got the beet salad which was vegetarian, was also very good (has blue cheese but you could order without). Fries were a large portion, hot and crispy. We got flights of seltzers and beer to drink and they were good as well.

The French fries were a sizable portion and were fresh and crispy ($6). The vegan flatbread tasted good but was small and expensive ($18). The mushroom tacos were expensive ($6 per taco), small, and bad. Wanted to try the recommended tofu sandwich, but they appear to have discontinued that

Delightful vegan options! Well seasoned and yummy food. Tried the tofu sandwich, the vegan flatbread and onion rings. Tofu sandwich was amazing, and the onion rings so satisfying.

Vegan and dog friendly! - Edit
Before the shutdown Ola didn’t have many options for us vegoons but during the shutdown they expanded massively. They now have more vegan options including tofu nuggets, salads, avocado tacos and French fries! Tables are situated 6 ft apart and they even put up plexiglass around the bar. Not only can you eat some vegan bar food while staying safe but you’ve gotta try their seltzer’s, cider, and beer. So many choices!
