Not a restaurant but a full on experience

I highly recommend visiting this place & you really must make reservations.

I got lucky & showed up right as some other parties were starting up & they made room for me. The chef had to quickly make me some special batter & it was fortunate he had the free time to do so. But again I’d recommend making reservations & giving them time to be prepared.

They were mindful & offered vegan substitutions such as veggie oil, tempura crisps, soy protein & special sauces.

Over the course of an hour we had a demonstration & learned how to make okonomiyaki the instructor went slow explaining each step & it was an easy going fun experience.

My creation was pretty darned tasty if I do say so myself & I look forward trying to recreate this dish for my friends when I get home.

I was really just trying to grab a quick bite & was prepared for what I was getting into but happily surprised

First time to learn how to make Okonomiyaki!

Although I'm Japanese,I didn't know exact difference between Hiroshima style and Osaka style.haha
They were very friendly and had fun to make Okonomiyaki with my friend.

Pros: friendly, cheap, delicious

Cons: nothing
