Such a fun meal - Edit
The waiter was helpful confirming vegan hibachi option (vegetable, no eggs or butter, add tofu), communicated to the chef, and the chef confirmed with us. They didn’t have a vegan dressing, so the starter salad was a bit of lettuce, but the meal overall was amazing. Miso soup, and delicious hibachi. I’m not a tofu fan, and loved their hibachi tofu. Such a great experience! We had several kids with us who also loved it!

Sushi and hibachi with tofu! Delish! - Edit
The menu online doesn’t quite make it clear, but let me assure you that you can get tofu instead of animals in anything that comes with protein. I had the Thai basil stir fry with tofu, and it was excellent! The portions were huge. Had leftovers to take home. This place also has several veggie sushi options. We sat at the bar, and Inga served us. She is vegan, and I always trust the options better when asking a vegan questions about what I’m actually ordering. Also the decor and atmosphere is a step up from most places in HH. Really liked it and will definitely go back!

okko serves a few vegan options, such as vegetable hibachi without eggs and no sauce. or vegetable egg rolls! very tasty would recommend!

Date/Group Outing Dinner! - Edit
I went to Okko several times, a couple of times in large groups. They are very accommodating and knowledgeable about what is vegan. Great food! Pricey but huge portions if you sit on the hibachi side.

Great avocado rolls - Edit
We ordered ahead and got take out on the way in to Hilton Head. The service was on time and the avocado was ripe and creamy.
