Overpriced run of the mill Japanese food

Tasty food if a bit overpriced for what it is.
The veggie curry is flavorful and nice, but basically just rice with sauce (there were maybe two pieces of carrot and one of potato in my sauce) for 15 GBP. The seaweed salad was your run of the mill seaweed salad. Nice but nothing special. The veggie roll was better than your average supermarket veggie roll, but not by much.

I ate here because it was one of the few places open on Christmas, but I would not have otherwise. Not worth it unless you have no better option.

Pros: Friendly service , Fast service

Cons: Overpriced , Few vegan options

Nice japanese katsu curry

I was really happy to find this Restaurant here on Happy Cow. We've been to plum valley in chinatown (which we absolutely loved) but wanted to try a different Restaurant, too, which wasn't so easy because there weren't many vegan options. So we were glad to find this little japanese restaurant.
I had the japanese curry and it was really good. It was my first time having a japanese curry and it was very nice to try something new and i really liked it, the sitze was really filling.
The interior is really comfy and the food came fast. All vegan dishes are labelled. What i didn't like: while we waited for food, the owner criticized two employees, because they had put the chopsticks in a wrong way on the table. I think she should'nt have done it in front of customers and in a more friendly way, this was not professional.

What a find

Walking through china town looking for Vegan options, and being told by every restaurant NO!

we found this who have loads of options on their menu and the Maitre De / waiter checked with the kitchen to make sure.

Pros: Vegan options , Helpful Staff, Delicious Food

Cons: Service could be quicker
