Lovely quiche and salad, cakes TO DIE FOR

I had a quiche and salad there recently - which was beautiful. Even gluten-free! The salad was great with seeds and a nice dressing - not cucumber and a few lettuce leaves! Then we went back on Saturday for cakes. Oh my. The best, lightest gluten-free cakes I've had in... ever? Amazing quality, presentation, and friendly staff. I moved not too far away so they will be seeing me not infrequently...
Prices were quite fair, too. A gluten-free quiche and salad came to 6.70 EUR (more because it was gluten-free), the cakes were 3 EUR.

I feel the above needs a little emphasis: I've now been there a few times, and each time the cakes have been truly amazing. I had the Trésor today. Truly amazing. Best cake ever in my life! Soup was good today, too!

Pros: Excellent food, Gluten-free options, Best cakes ever!

Highly Recommended Vegan Sweets

We tried two desserts and one of them was truly divine, the nougat cube. Try it and you won't be dissapointed!

yummmm!!

This place has amazing crepes! Unfortunately, they no longer make waffles, but the food here is great! Coffee isn't too bad either :-)

Pros: very friendly staff, amazing crepes, outdoor seating

Cons: could use a little more shade outside

went this morning

I just went there this morning. Got a crepe with mushrooms and a almond milk cafe latte. Took one bite of the crepe and could not eat it at all. The crepe was cold and rubbery, filled with mushrooms in a sauce with way too much mustard. Seriously, it was inedible. So I thought I would at least drink the latte - it was cold and tasted bad. I don't know how you make a coffee taste bad, but it was terrible - way too large, not hot, without much foam. I took a few sips, paid, and left. A waste of nearly 7 euros - you can get a good vegan meal in Berlin for that kind of money.

our favourite in berlin

I spent 5 days in Berlin back in August and of all the vegan places I visited, this was my favourite. We had a broccoli, cheese and almond crepe, a potato and onion quiche and a spinach flammkuchen with a ridiculously large salad and scrummy bowl of lentil and veggie soup. All of it was lovely and the mock cheese even melted a little and tasted really good. We also had a choice of plant milks to have in our hot chocolate and these were even topped with squirty cream! Unfortunately, we went too late for any deserts, but we went away with all smiles after some great service and some viel lecker Essen! Danke from England :D

C'est magnifique - LOVE it!

I'm a fussy cow, so I'm overjoyed to say that Ohlala is the best vegan restaurant I've ever been to - on a par with Shoreditch Saf (RIP) but with better ambiance and more variety and adventure.

Ohlala has cute, retro French styling, alt music, animal acivist posters and delicious, beautifully presented food. Saturday brunch buffet is amazing value and includes delights such as blinis with beetroot carpaccio, coffee creme brulee, strawberry rice quenelles, pates, tofu in cream sauce, grain mustard mash and an unexpectedly delightful raw courgette "pasta". Everything looks and tastes fantastic and unlike many vegan offerings, isn't full of over-processed, wind-provoking products or jaw-ache rawism. The non-buffet cakes and tarts also looked absolutely mouth-watering, but unfortunately I was too full to partake. The brunch is not surprisingly, very popular so make sure you get there early!

Pros: Delicious, beautiful food, Lovely decor and ambiance, True to vegan activism

Ohlala!

This is one of my new favorites! It's very unique, very cute (think of an imaginary pink Paris with walls), very "homelike" feel at the same time, slightly vintage, affordable (but with a high standard of quality ingredients), friendly; and the food here is Scrumptious! I've had the Saturday Brunch and it was delicious (I'm not sure what each and every item was, as I was rushy and took the food back to my flat without asking, as it looks like a popular place for brunch, because there were no tables left for me to sit at - sigh). Everything was really tasty and satisfying. Everything is made from scratch with care, just like you would find in a small french patisserie. The staff is particularly helpful too. I have been here on Sundays also. I typically get quiche and sweet tortes with a latte (I make sure I get a few goodies to take home too!). I have yet to try some of their savoury crepes, but I'm making it a point to do that this week:) I would highly recommend it.

Real French patisserie, vegan style!

Three vegetarian/vegan friends from different parts of the world meet up in Berlin for a mini holiday. Bags are dropped off and we head straight to OhLaLa for their Saturday buffet. I had been eyeballing their Facebook page for a few weeks and knew we had to go there ASAP.

The cafe is small and cute and cozy. The staff were very helpful in getting caffeine-free tea for my friends. And then it was on to the food!

Oh my days we were in Heaven! We slathered homemade nutella on everything. The chocolate mousse was one of the best desserts we have ever had, closing our eyes and just letting it melt in the mouth! And I still dream about gnocchi with mustard seeds. I must find a recipe to try and make it!

We bought a vegan broccoli quiche to take with us for later, also nice.

I've been back twice since then for their gorgeous looking desserts, only to discover they were closed! (Internet access was tricky, so I didn't check ahead of time).

Pros: Homemade, Delicious, Atmosphere

Cons: Needs to be open more days
