Recently moved to the new buildings just next to the train station.
Compose your own bowl or choose the vegan bowl, in sizes small 12,50€, medium 15€ or large 17,50€. 🥗
Vegan protein options are falafel or tofu. Ginger dressing is vegan.
We each composed our own bowl, with tofu. A medium and large, with some vegetable extras and a drink each, this was 40€.

Very nice place, brand new, spacious, comfy seatings. And very friendly staff. Relaxed. 💚🤗
The restaurant room is all ground floor. Clean toilets. There's no wheelchair accessible toilet. A pity, because it's a brand new place, and there was definitely enough space!

2020/02:
Ohana Pokébowls is a new place in the city center (Groentenmarkt).
We were here for lunch on a Thursday (marketday).
We wanted to go in at 11.30, but were told it was still closed (a bit strange on a market day, when there are so many visitors for the market around).
So we went back at noon, opening time. Good thing we were there early, because the place soon filled up (there are not that many seating places) and also people queueing for take-away (you can also call in your order).
The ginger and ponzu dressing were said to be vegan, although I didn't trust the latter, as that normally contains fish (so went for the ginger dressing, which is also standardly included in the vegan option).
Friendly service. We didn't have to wait long for our food to be served.
Everything was fresh, the bowls were nice, and there's some soy sauce on the table to spice it up a bit.
The small bowl was more than enough for me.
Prices are very fair, cheap even: 8,95€ for a small bowl, and 10,95 for a medium.
Everything was clean. Toilets in the back (did not see an accessible toilet).
Entrance: one large step to get in. No ramp.
All in all: very happy with this new addition in Ostend. we had a lovely lunch.

This is my go-to place in Oostende for getting a fast fresh bowl. While they only have one vegan option, you can customize it a little by choosing the toppings, and it is really tasty.

There are 3 different sizes you can choose (Small = 11,95€, Medium 13,95€ & Large = 15,95€). Medium is really Big and was totally enough for us. You can choose your own toppings.

First of all I didn't know that there are several of these little locations. But in case you have never been to one like me: do it!
Read moreYou can choose a bowl size (small medium large) and then choose what kind of stuff you wanna put into it. Ranging from sushi rice, brown rice, quinoa, etc all the way to tofu, avocado, cashew nuts, dressing and toppings and so on. Cheap (medium bowl is about 11€), more than enough to eat, and absolutely delicious!
