I'v been here so many times - Edit
.. since 2018 or so, now they dont have sit-on-the-floor tables anymore, more convenient without taking out your shoes.
Read moreFood was excellent and cheap. Fast service. They do sell package veg food and I attended once in their charity doing lunch boxes for homeless elderly ^^

Lot of options for typical Korean food - Edit
I like this place as they offer so many veganized Korean dishes. I went there 3 times and had jjajangmyeong, fried mandus, tteokbokkis sweet and sour soy protein and the spicy noodle soup. Everything tasted good and the service is fast.
Read moreThey also sell vegan instant ramen and other vegan food.

Disappointing - Edit
The first time we went, they were closed for some reason. When we went back, they were open, but the sign on the door said closed.
Read moreThe sizzling tofu in the little pot was delicious, but the soy chicken was overcooked and had no flavour and some of the side dishes were very odd in flavour and texture.
Service was really rushed, no one said hello and there was an unfriendly atmosphere. I wouldn't rush back, especially when there is so much vegan food in the same area.

Delicious Korean vegan food! - Edit
What a neat place! The food was delicious and I loved the convenience of ordering from a tablet at your table. I loved everything they offered, and the portions were quite generous! The ambiance is ... interesting ... (I'm sure other reviews touch more on that) but everyone was friendly and extremely helpful. Will definitely come back for some delicious vegan Korean food whenever I'm back in Seoul!

Soft tofu - Edit
Wholesome home style soft tofu in hot stone pot and with an assortment of side dishes. Many things to choose from on the all vegan menu, mainly home cooked comfort food.

09/10/24 - Edit
Managed to find this place tucked away, not too far from Cheonggyecheon Stream (about 10-15 minute walk). Having been to numerous Loving Huts around the world, I'm kind of used to the content on the TV, however I can appreciate that it's not comfortable viewing for everyone. The issue here is a lack of atmosphere, like eating in a monastery, regardless of how many people are in.
Read moreMost importantly, the food is really good and the service very quick, wheeled out by a quiet lady with a trolley, ordered via tablet, with everything clearly marked in English and Korean.
Would I recommend this place? If you're in the area, absolutely. But, the recommendation comes with a warning that the atmosphere and theme might weird some out.

Used to be my favorite... - Edit
I have no idea what they changed, like 5 years ago i would love going there for the food, ignoring the weird atmosphere. Went again in 2024 and got the Tonkatsu, wasn't good. Once had amazing Tonkatsu at loving hut so I thought maybe I dont like the version from here or they had a bad day (was fried pretty badly). But since I had good memories of the place I went again a few days later and ordered Tofu Stew. It looked as awful as it tasted. Might go down as one of the worst meals ive ever had. The way to get me to convert to their cult would be to tell me that hell is eating that tofu stew every day.

Good food in a weird atmosphere - Edit
The restaurant offers some authentic street food dishes that we were happy to try out. However, as some others already pointed out - the atmosphere is a bit strange because of the cult videos. And there weren't many dishes with a lot of vegetables. But it's the perfect place for carbs and protein (in form of meat replacement). We also tried the fried egg and can recommend it!

Cons: Strange vibes, Not many fresh vegetables

Very nice food! - Edit
The restaurant’s information level about closing days was not existent online. The restaurant was closed for Chuseok and one day after. When we finally showed up on a day, where it was open, we got to try some dishes. We ordered at the small tablet at the table. Very nice food. Very glad we came back.

Delicious food in quiet Insadong alley - Edit
One of the best vegan places I visited in Seoul. Generous portions and delicious food. The staff were friendly too. The interior is a pretty Hanok style construction. It is cool to have this so close to a busy touristy avenue. It feels quiet and isolated. There are a lot of TV screens playing kooky religious content, be warned. I didn't mind this at all but non vegan guests who are not accustomed to eating at religion/cult-affiliated restaurants may find it uncomfortable. The wheat meat (seitan) stew was my favourite dish here.

Cons: Religious/confronting content played on TV screens, Tables a bit low for tall people

Not recommended for non-vegan friends - Edit
The food here is fine, its biggest positive is that it’s entirely vegan. But the atmosphere is uncomfortable in a way that I’ve never experienced in other vegan restaurants run by the group that follows the Supreme Master. There are too many TVs at eye level and they are all very close. If you come here with non-vegan friends. Expect that the food isn’t enough to make them enjoy the atmosphere.
Read moreThe food was exactly what you’d expect from one of these places, trending a bit on the less tasty side. I’m not in a rush to go back here.

Neblogai - Edit

Very unbalanced food, atmosphere quite bad - Edit
This restaurant is affiliated with the "Surpreme Master". There are at least three TVS playing Supreme Master TV. I have been to quite a few Loving Huts so I'm somewhat familiar and even though I don't like it, usually it didn't bother me too much. Here it is extremely in your face. We just did not enjoy being there.
My main critique was the food though. The portions were relatively big, but literally only the one thing that it said it is. So the rolled mushrooms for example, even though depicted with some additional greenery I the menu, were only mushrooms.
We ordered two mains, rice and an "egg" and received two small plates with banchan, which were the best part of the meal. Everything else was very greasy. Maybe we just ordered the wrong food. It was a little hard to finish to be honest.
We definitely won't come again. The only thing we liked was that it is completely vegan.

Good food, strange videos on the tv - Edit
We were in Insadong and this was the close restaurant to where we were located, so we decided to go here and from the outside, it honestly looked a little bit shady, so we weren't sure about it. The interior looks quite welcoming and it's easy to order food on the tablets located at the side of the table, and it's fully functioning in English too.
Read moreWe ordered several dishes to try: bulgogi, jjajangmyeon, fried chicken, dumplings and more. We have thoroughly enjoyed all of them and we believed all of them were very decently priced also. The fried chicken definitely made me happy because I don't want to eat actual animals and this made me feel as if I could also try the "traditional" Korean fried chicken.
The only thing that was a bit strange were the propaganda-like videos shown on the screen. I wasn't a fan, but I mostly didn't pay attention to it, but rather to the food, which I enjoyed.
Pros: Good food, decently priced
Cons: Strange videos on the TVs in several languages

Antiabortista y desagradable - Edit
