Oh Churros is incredible - Edit
If you have a churro addiction like I do, this is the place to go. Churros are freshly made to order. They have a few different dipping sauces, though the only vegan one is the strawberry marmalade. Vegetarian options include a cheese empanada and tequeños (cheese sticks).
Read moreThe owner is very friendly, every time I go in we chat and he asks my opinion on vegan options he could add to the menu. There are plans to add a fried plantain and black bean empanada that is completely vegan soon.
There is also fresh coffee and tea options with plant based milk alternatives like oat and almond. Be warned, the whipped cream isn't vegan, and I doubt the coffee sauces are vegan either, but I'm not sure.
This business just opened a couple weeks ago, so they are still working out some kinks. The owner is very friendly. The rest of the staff has dodgy English, so a little bit of Spanish might come in handy, but isn't required by any stretch of the imagination.
I've been twice already, and can't wait to go back again. I'd give them 5 stars if they had more vegan stuff, but they just opened and are seeing what works right now, so I expect that to change in the future.
