Excellent fish and chips

The vegan fish and chips here are excellent. It's a battered banana blossom fish which has great savoury seasoning but it doesn't taste anything like a fish. It feels more like a spiced fried chicken sort of taste. It is delicious even if it's not massively fishy. The chips are great too and I'm a big fan of the mushy pea fritters.

The chips are great!

The chip portion was massive for a nice price. The chips were freshly fried. The staff was friendly.

Pros: The portions were massive , The food was so delicious , Fried vegan food separately from meat

Cons: Non vegan option are available

Great vegan fish and chips

It was really exciting to visit this place and be able to order proper battered fish and chips! The fish is banana blossom, and it comes in lovely batter with a massive portion of chips. The menu makes it clear what the vegan options are. The staff were friendly and there are a few tables if you intend to sit in. To me, the seasoning on the banana blossom could have been fishier (e.g. dill, nori), but it was still really good.

Fantastic vegan fish n chips

The app won't let me give this place 5 stars as it's not a vegan place but it so deserves 5 stars as their vegan fish and chips were fantastic. The batter on the banana blossom was crispy and light and a really generous sized portion. The mushy peas were vegan also and tasted authentic and we couldn't fault anything apart from we should have asked for double vinegar but that's personal preference. They were also wrapped in cardboard which is recyclable which was great to see.

Pros: Banana blossom fish tasted fantastic, Good sized portion, Chips were proper chippy chips

Cons: It's not a vegan place, Only two vegan options with chips: fish or burger

Proper Chippy Tea

Vegan friendly chippy! The staff are very aware of vegan dietary requirements. Everything is cooked in a separate fryer. The vegan banana blossom 'fish' and chips are are really good and the portion size is generous. Highly recommended.
