Incredibly yummy vegan find at Bracebridge farmers’ market

While visiting Bracebridge Saturday farmers’ market and exploring the various food stands, my attention was caught by the word vegan at Obviously Plant Based food stand. I stopped to talk to the owners, a couple from Huntsville, who had recently ventured into establishing their own home based vegan bakery and frequenting various farmers’ markets in Muskoka cottage country. They had a varied selection of vegan gluten free treats including scones, cookies and bars. I selected a lemon poppyseed scone ( my favourite combination!) and a crumble peach bar which was delicious! I be asked if they were on Happy Cow and they said no as thought only restaurants were on it. I said no not at all . I told them that I would happily post and review their new business and encouraged them to do the same. They also told me that they offered custom made to order cakes as well as other treats all from their home kitchen! Wishing this newly established vegan business much success and continued success for many years to come!
