Lovely Place - Edit
A beautiful place. The staff was so nice and even though they didn't have an English menu they were willing to translate it for us. I had the sweet oatmeal and golden milk which was delicious! Definitely a place to check out if you're in Paris!

Nice place and delicious coffee - Edit
Nice and calm coffee place to work or relax. Small menu, food is good but a little bit expensive. Coffees are delicious, specially matcha latte. A small library for clients. A pleasant place :)

best oatmeal ever! - Edit
Unfortunately I only had the chance to visit this spot once but it was so good! The oatmeal was delicious and the best oatmeal I've ever had. One the menu, the oatmeal I had was the Sweet one. It had granola, pieces of chocolate, cinnamon, almonds, etc. My boyfriend who hates oatmeal even loved it! My boyfriend also tried the sandwich and he loved it as well. If I ever have the chance, I will definitely come back.

Peaceful place and amazing vegan cheesecake - Edit
The café is very nice, bright and well decored. I came early in the morning, so I could work on a long table with another student.
Read moreI ordered a chai latte (very good!) and a vegan cheesecake, really one of the best I had in my lifetime (even as non-vegan) !
However, it was not completely my thing concerning the atmosphere of the café (not lively enough, too "hipster" maybe?). I recommend it when you're searching for a peaceful location (to work for example), but not to talk loudly with a friend. Otherwise, there is also take-away beverages ;-)
Pros: Cheesecake (I cannot say about oatmeals), Peaceful (soft music, not overcrowded), Location near the lively rue Mouffetard
Cons: Not lively enough

Intimate atmosphere and delicious food - Edit
I have a huge love for this place.
Read moreThe savory oatmeals are always creative and delicious as well as the desserts. The hot drinks are served in very large mugs, which is very nice when you fancy a comforting moment. I often come to Oatmeal to work, the place is very suitable for that because there's relaxing music and the decoration is plain and beautiful, which creates a very nice atmosphere, intimate and cozy.
The owner is a very nice person as well. She makes all the food herself and create a new menu every week.

Nice but small oatmeal bowl - Edit
I've only had a bowl of sweet oatmeal here so I can't give a comprehensive review but oh my that bowl was delicious. The puree, the hazelnut creme, the nuts and of course the oats with granola, it was all combined to perfection. I did think that the serving size was a bit small considering the price though.
Read moreThe interior was minimalistic and very chic, it made for really nice pictures ;)
Pros: Delicious oatmeal bowl, Nice interior
Cons: Small portion

amazing savory oatmeal - Edit
I loved this place! My dad got the sweet chocolate hazelnut oatmeal, and I got the savory oats with bean chili and arugula. I'm not sure if the menu changes or not, but I've thought about that breakfast often since then and I might try to recreate it. Also enjoyed the matcha latte. Highly recommended!

hipster indeed... - Edit
I don't care, I love that!
Read moreVery cosy, "vintage" vibe (the furniture! the tiles!!!).
The burger was a toast made with vegan "ham" and "chease", more industrial than healthy, even though probably organic...
Then again, it also had avocado, long story short, I loved it! :D
I loved the coffee as well.

My new favourite place in Paris - Edit
I've been to Oatmeal this Saturday afternoon to try their new burger, and I'm completely blown away. The place is really, really nice and cozy, albeit a bit small. It has several couches and a table, and the service is very nice and kind. The background music is very nice and calming, you can really go to there to have a good time and to relax, while having delicious vegan food or drinks. I've had a burger (which they call "sandwich"), and it came along with a salad, some sort of chips, and had vegan cheese and tomatoes on the burger itself. The food was amazing, it was a pure treat and pleasure to eat it. I later had a vegan Cappuccino (oh God, one of the few things I honestly miss), and it was so delicious (and huuuge). Prices were very fair (9€ for the burger, 4€ for the cappuccino), I can't complain about anything. The easiest 5 stars I've ever given here on HappyCow, and probably my new favourite place in Paris. :)

Oatmeal, sandwiches, and coffee! - Edit
Our first stop in Paris was Oatmeal! We tried an oatmeal porridge, similar to chili, that was very tasty! A panini style tofu sandwhich with onions and guacamole that was equally delicious. They have a unique selection of coffees, smoothies, and desserts. We tried the matcha cheeZcake with cappuccino that left us very happy and satisfied. The menu was small but we were pleased with all our selections. The owner was very friendly and spoke English.

Too sweet for me (not in a good way) - Edit
This weekend we visited Oatmeal for having some sweets and drinks.
Read moreWe had as drinks the beet latte and the chocolate with marshmallows; and as sweets the banana red velvet cupcake and some kind of pound cake with blueberries.
Unfortunately, we did not enjoyed any of them.
The beet latte had gotten my attention, but I found it to be a bit watery. Maybe it was just not my cup of tea.
However, the chocolate was super sweet; I could barely taste the cacao in there.
And the desserts, they had good taste, but sadly, the flavors were overpowered by the sweetness.
Also, desserts were small; but that's not a problem since they also cost less than 4 euros. So it's a good value.
If I would've enjoyed them, I'd have probably ordered one or two more; but I couldn't.
I won't be having their sweets anytime soon; but I haven't tried their plates (porridges, sandwiches) which are likely to be much better. So we'll see.
Pros: good value, calm atmosphere
Cons: desserts very very sweet, chocolate drink very very sweet

Gorgeous modern and delicious - Edit
A lovely find! If I'd realised Oatmeal was so near my hotel I'd certainly have gone there for breakfast and tried out some of the oatmeal options. As it was, it was perfect for a very late lunch for two on a very rainy day with hot grilled vegan cheese panini and (joy) steaming mugs of hot chocolate and marshmallows (with choice of soy, rice or oat milk) and slices of lemon and poppy seed cake. I loved the interior too - beautiful. If I could take Oatmeal home with me, I would!
