Terrible communication

Honestly, we can’t rate the café, because it was closed when we wanted to visit it.
But the only one star is for the terrible commuication.

On the homepage there is an advice to check the opening times on Google. And Google told us, that the café is open on Friday. But unfortunately it was closed when we arrived.

Very disappointing! We drove an hour to go to the café, because it was the only vegan spot we could find at Happy Cow.
If you recommend to look on Google for the opening hours, than you should also make sure, that they are correct!

If you have the same problem, we can recommend the “Kullzenska Cafeet”. It is directly around the corner and has excellent vegan options.

Recommended!

Very nice and cute Café for lunch and Fika. Outdoor seats available but no toilet.

Pros: creative coffee specialities (espresso+ice cream), great raw cakes (pineapple, blueberry and zebra)

Cons: smoothies quite unfruity (Mango Mania) , no toilet

Joyful vibes and Colorful meal

Cosy place with good food.
The food is good and Colorful, the staff is super nice.
The smoothies are top notch!

I would have given 5 stars but the pasta I had, though good, was clearly undercooked (not a big deal) and there is no toilet available to the public (a bit more of a problem when you need to was your hands before eating)

Would clearly recommend this place to anyone, vegan or not.

Best vegan in Kalmar

Lentil soup with hummus and bread - it was good. I also had a take away sandwich wich was pretty good.

Could have been better.

In my opinion, they could have put more effort in improving their products instead of making the cafe look as trendy and cool as possible. All the food was just a bit boring. Not bad, but just too normal.
We had four cheesecakes and they tasted good, but they offered nothing particularly outstanding.
The smoothie (sommarsolen) i bought tasted watery, not fruity at all, even though it was expensive (59 SEK). However, when i mentioned i wasn't satisfied, they appreciated my feedback and let me choose one of the treats as a compensation. So that's definitely points for the service.
Altogether, fine, but a little too trendy for me.

Tasty, affordable food in cozy and bright cafe

I had the Greek salad bowl, which was delicious, full of vegan feta cheese, olives, and veggies, and also large enough to fill me up. The coffees and cakes looked delicious as well.

Pros: Friendly staff, Delicious food, Accessible and affordable

super nice little place

this is a super nice little place to eat and drink – the whole menu is completely vegan. we had a friendly conversation with the owner/founder (rabea) who also is german so communication was easier. she explained all the ingredients to us. after we ate we also took food to go (for dinner), so we could try everything.

Nice vegan place

Not so many options. Wrap was without dip, falafel salad (qunioa, falafel, lettuce, dip, olives) wasnt exciting, smoothie bowl very good.

Delish & Stylish

Very nice small café with seating in- and outside.
We had two kinds of delicious vegan cheesecakes, a regular Latte and a Pink Latte. Oat Milk is available, of course.
Thanks!

Yummy bowls and desserts

OAS Cafe is now all vegan! We ordered their Mexican and poke bowls, and they were fantastic. The Mexican had kidney beans, fresh corn, quinoa, guacamole, green salad and chips. The poke bowl had edamame, fried tofu, rice, salad and smoked seaweed with a peanut sauce. We shared a piece of raspberry cheesecake that was raw and tasty, and a chia pudding. Everything was gluten free. We didn't have room for a coffee or smoothie, but they sounded good too. Bargain prices, for example the bowls were 109 Swedish kroner, and they were large. Highly recommended!

Pros: Value, Taste, Creative ingredients

Cons: Hours: only open 11-18

Very bland & bland cheesecakes, a generous 3 star

Me and my partner had one mango & lime cheesecake and chocolate orange cheesecake, and we were quite disappointed. They were very bland and the mango and lime one's filling tasted like flavored butter. The prince for these two pieces alone were 100SEK, so it definatly felt like we had thrown away our money.

I only give this place 3 stars because this is the only place in Kalmar with many vegan options, and the place itself was cosy. I don't know if they had a bad day with the cheesecakes, but they sure scared me away' cause not coming back to this place after eating those bland and bad cheesecakes.

Tasty food and amazing cakes

I tried the mexican bowl here which was really tasty. But I got blown away by the brownie. I usually do not like raw cake too much cause I love it sweet, but this one was incredible. The staff was super friendly and the place itself is cozy.

Pros: Cake, Cozy, Staff

Cute place and friendly staff

Great, super helpful staff and good food. I had a cous-cous salad bowl with vegan feta cheese. Although I would've enjoyed some kind of protein added and less lettuce, it was yummy.

Great cakes and awesome coffee

This cafe is great! They are vegan but offer cows milk for coffee, too. I had the rapsberry cheesecake which was amazing and for the coffee they asked if I wanted the beans to be dark or lighter roasted. Great for coffee lovers!

Pros: Nice outdoor seating, Great interieur, Amazing coffee and raw cakes

Nice raw cakes and smoothie bowls

The raw cake and the smoothie bowl were both super tasty. The wrap and the avocado toast on the other hand weren’t really seasoned.

Tasty raw cakes

If you are a fan of raw food this is definitely a place to go. They have a nice offer of raw and non raw vegan cakes, daily soup and daily salad. Their coffee is really good as well and everything is served in a very cozy interior with many plants. I love it there. Although, they could be a little bit cheaper or have biggest portions. But anyway I recommend this place.
