Disappointed - Edit
I really wish this place was fully vegan as it easily could be. Unfortunately the food was tasteless and uninspiring and the staff were quite rude. Will not be returning.

Terrible - Edit
Ate there on 1st Oct 2020 . It was top notch when it was Acorn .
Read moreThe pea soup was watery no substance £5.95 , I was serve 3 ravioli , 2 mushrooms cut in half and 4 bits of artichokes with An hazelnut type of sauce for £7.95 . The desert which was a small Thick chocolate Pot with rapsberry sorbet £ 6.95, I thought it would be light like a mousse , Could not finish a bit too sickly for me . The hot chocolats was like warm £3.50
My husband had a garden salad £3.95 and a pumpkin curry which consisted of a shallow curry sauce , a slice of baked pumpkin with a Fried large chard leaf £7.95. He said it was Nice and he enjoyed it , his drink was a lemonade type £3.95 . His desert was a plum franzipan which was burnt £6. 95.
This type of food would not sustain an hungry man or woman . It’s not worth the money . I did not find the menu tempting .
There plenty of restaurants, cafes in Bath which have vegan option . The Rock cafe is very good ! I gave it one star but happy cow put it up to 2 stars 🤔🤔
Cons: Too Expensive For what you get l, Not filling enough for a hungry person

Food good service questionable - Edit
The venue on the whole was nice and food good, very expensive for what you got. Didn’t feel particularly welcome as slightly pretentious and some of the staff seemed to ask if things ok but not actually interested in the response!! Lots of potential but some things need tweaking eg cleaning the tables between costumers, actually caring about feedback regarding food etc!! Won’t be back but worth a try.

Cons: Table dirty and not clean on arrival , Could have had more drinks but not offered, Some of the staff seemed to be glad to get rid

Delicious vegan in the heart of Bath 💗🌿 - Edit
A beautiful little veggie restaurant, with such a delicious range of unique dishes to choose from. My friends and I went for the small plates so we got to try more and were really impressed!! Neither of them are vegan and said they would definitely come again as they enjoyed the food so much.

Vegetarian fine dining tapas style restaurant. All plates can be veganised. So refreshing to have a different experience from the usual junk food. The food was amazing and the staff were really friendly. Great wine list too.

“The best risotto I’ve EVER had” (My omni mother!) - Edit
One of my favourite vegan restaurants in Bath, the flavour combinations at this fine dining restaurant are inspirational. It gets busy so book in advance, it’s so worth it. I took my mum for Mother’s Day lunch last year and she couldn’t believe how good the risotto was, we both went for this and were raving about it for a long time after. Cute little friendly place with great service.

Innovative - Edit
Acorn has some of the most innovative vegan food I've seen, the fine dining comes at a price and while the local sourcing is admirable, I'm not sure the price justifies it. The portion size is adequate but wouldn't go here for a big hunger. A great choice for a special occasion and will also return to try the lunch options

Vegan fine dining - Edit
We treated ourselves to the larger tasting menu. It's pricey, but the food is really good. All seven courses were innovative with ingredients and flavours... I'd say six out of seven worked. (One, the radish sorbet, didn't work for us I'm afraid). It's really quite pricey, but the food is amazing and the staff are friendly. Unusually for gourmet food, the portions are generous too, we went away very full. Worth treating yourself if you can stretch to it!

Beautiful little restaurant of only about 24 cover, so very intimate feel to it.
Read moreWe were tempted by the tasting menu, but went for the 3 course classics menu, and were not disappointed.
Beautiful food, exciting flavours, wonderfully presented.
It is expensive, but well worth the cost for the quality of the food.
Highly recommend the cauliflower main, donkey carrot starter and chocolate dessert.
Served by Joss, who was covering the whole place, and was friendly and happy to explain the food.
Great anniversary treat for us.

High end restaurant - extortionate prices! - Edit
We had the 7 course taster menu. It was nice, but I just expected more for the price. A lot of the dishes were very oily, and for someone who tries to use oil as little as possible, it was really noticeable.

Incredible food experience, vegan fine dining at its best. Flavours that’ll make your mouth dance the fandango! We had the vegan tasting menu as we aren’t from around these parts so wanted to sample everything before we head home to London. We were both very impressed. It’s pricey but when you are on holiday it’s worth it!

Amazing dinner - Edit
I tried this restaurant whilst in the area for work due to the reviews. Managed to be seated at short notice but had to keep meal to one hour (luckily next booking cancelled). Service was excellent and the description of ingredients was lovely and as would expected at this type of establishment. Let’s leave the cost out of the equation as there’s no point eating here to save money. I had the five course menu which came with an amuse-bouche complimentary. The main course was sublime, especially the truffle. All ingredients were very fresh and beautifully presented. Desert was lovely as was the red wine I chose. I will come back with my wife when next in the area but it will be special occasions unless I become rich.
