Willing and Able to Accomodate Vegans - Edit
The server was knowledgeable about what vegan means and they make food to order so they were able to customize the tofu and vegetable clay pot dish to make it vegan and sugar free - take out the chicken broth and take out the sugar from the sauce.

Beautiful restaurant, nice mains - Edit
Had the wild mushroom dish and it was tasty. I did ask about the veggie dumplings for a starter and they informed me that they do contain egg, so skipped those. I don’t think they have any vegan starters except maybe some of the soups, but they do have a decent amount of vegan mains. The restaurant itself is beautiful on the inside and has a lovely atmosphere!

Delicious food, great vibe - Edit
Friends took us to O Mandarin for birthday dinner and what a treat! From the outside you would never know what lies behind their tinted windows and doors- a beautifully decorated interior with an unpretentious upscale feel. GREAT service. Extensive wine menu (pages!) with some unique selections including Lafite Rothschild!

Our friends had been there several times before so knew the vegan options well. We got steamed veggie dumplings, peanut noodles, peppercorn and wood-ear mushrooms to start, and then two meals- served family style - Tofu Veggie Clay pot and Yu Xiang eggplant
Everything was delish and can’t wait to go back and try more 🥢

The atmosphere at O Mandarin is just gorgeous and the food is absolutely delicious! Definitely the place to go if you want a nice upscale dinner. There’s tons of vegan friendly appetizers and a nice selection of vegan friendly mains in the vegetable section of the menu. Everything we ordered was perfectly seasoned.
