Sweet, sour, and a little spicy - Edit
Serves nice and flavourful Malaysian dishes. I believe almost everything here is vegan. The mock chicken alternative tastes great!

Fairly good foodmall food option - Edit
We had a vege nasi lamak. It was reasonably priced and rather tasty.
Read moreThe ambiance of the place is really nothing special, but it is a valid option while on the go.
A solid 7 out of 10.

Such an easy go-to - Edit
I could live in KL just for this! Such an easy, fast, affordable place to have delicious food. They make the mock meat themselves out of soy and mushroom. I had the curry soup and it was a bit too greasy for my liking, but sooo delicious and full of flavor. I’m a fan!!

Just okay - Edit
It was good to find a place that clearly advertised their vegetarian options. I struggled to get a definitive answer as to whether everything was vegan, but it seems that it is.
Read moreI got the sweet and sour chicken, which didn't taste like sweet and sour and was spicy. I didn't really enjoy it to be honest.
Cons: Food flavour

Good local food! - Edit
Not a lot of options, but enough good ones to choose from. The food was good and impressive fake meat. It was really nice to just be able to order al the Malay dishes without having to worry! The food court here is a fun visit in general, with lots of great sweets and deserts.

Good but can be better - Edit
Long time didn't come here and seems like they have change the menu. But the taste is not so consistent. I order nyonya fish curry rice, the spiciness is top notch.. Too hot 😅 even for me a Malaysian, not sure if foreigners can take this level of spiciness. #Veganuary

I tried the wantan mee and it was okay and a different time it was ordered some clumps of noodles were uncooked. The nasi lemak chicken is really good. I also had the nasi lemak rendang and it wasn’t that good. Defo get the faux chicken

Located in the Food Republic in the Pavillion mall. I went their twice. I had the char siu wantan noodles and the nasi leak rendang. Both were delicious, but I have had better veggie wantan noodles elsewhere.

NYONYA VEGE is a small but epic 100% vegan shopfront in the famous Pavilion shopping mall. It’s on level 1. I confirmed nothing contained egg or dairy.
Read moreWe ordered two meals at 14/15MYR each, the Charsui chicken rice and the Charsui Wantan Mee. Honestly, brilliant.
Mock meats taste and texture spot on. The Charsui pork amazing.
I straight away ordered a 3rd main and he gave me a free soup! And the soup was sooo good. Cannot fault it. 3 medium portion sized mains for 44MYR ($14/15 AUS). Must visit!
Pros: 100% vegan, taste exceptional , Friendly and very easy to order, Menu simple but epic!

Malaysian food with vegan fake meat - Edit
Loved this place - I'd wanted a traditional Malaysian dish but not seen any veganised until I went here - it was hard to find - we walked all around level 1 until we found it but worth it - I'll probably return on my last day!

Great selection, big portions - Edit
This place has the same menu as the VegTalk in KAL airport but at a couple RM lower prices for most dishes. I think I got a Curry Pan Mee or something similar. Either way it was a huge bowl of curry noodles that was extremely tasty (especially the little brown faux meat balls - I think faux fish balls?) Recommend if you're in the area.

Soggy noodles - Edit
Tried the Curry Rendang Wantan noodles, but realised there’s no wantan after I collected my food and returned to my table. Noodles were overcooked, very soggy. Asked if there’s any soup, was served a bowl of cold and salty soup.
