It's authentic real NY pizza, I'd been missing that since turning vegan and this place delivers! My go to is the New York regular pizza, the classic NY pizza.
Prices are a bit expensive but it's worth it

You walk in and immediately see the 4 vegan pizza options. We got all of them but at least get the white ones. So good! QUICK in and out. Table to sit. Very nitty gritty classic NY pizza place.

Quick vegan slice near Penn - Edit
I wanted to try the vegan options from here and grabbed one of each of the vegan options. The slices are super thin and crispy so not too heavy. $6 each. They hit the spot but nothing you need to go out of your way for. Solid!

We had the NY slice plus one with cashew cream that we added. We also had the Alfredo pizza and Grandma. All were excellent. We’re all (4 of us) pretty picky about pizza and feel like this place hit the mark.

Coming to the city trying hard to get back on my vegan journey I thought would be a struggle because of the pizza. I was wrong!! This gives me the exact same happy tummy non vegan NYC pizza used to give me, and reminded me that vegan food is delicious!!!

it was my first time getting new york style slices and i was not disappointed. their vegan options are amazing. i had the vegan regular and the vegan white pizza and they were both SO delicious. i’ve never had such good vegan pizza before and i’m picky with my pizza. finally a non-vegan place who understands that vegan pizza doesn’t mean pizza with veggies!

I've eaten here several times and have always been satisfied with their vegan pizzas. The most recent time (April 2021) they had 4 vegan slice options. My favorite is probably the vegan alfredo - despite the name, it's not too heavy. I have yet to order a custom pie but you could order all kinds of different vegan options. The slices aren't cheap - 5-7 bucks for the vegan ones - but it is right by Penn Station, open late, and always moves quickly.

Horrible, nasty, & burned Vegan pizza - Edit
I had to catch a train at New York Penn Station, so I called ahead to order 2 slices of their Vegan Truffle & Alfredo pizza. I paid with my card so all I had to do was pick it up. Each slice was $7, which I didn't mind because of their reviews. Picked up the pizza left to catch my train. Grabbed a slice, took a bite & it was HORRIBLE 🤬!!!!!! The pizza was VERY DRY & BURNED🤬IT WAS DISGUSTING. I WILL NEVER BUY PIZZA FROM THEM AGAIN, NOR WILL I RECOMMEND ANY VEGAN FAMILY TO BUY PIZZA FROM THERE. MIND YOU THE VEGAN SLICES WERE THE MOST EXPENSIVE SLICES THERE!!! SCREAMERS PIZZA IN BROOKLYN IS THE BEST VEGAN PIZZA I'VE EVER HAD. If you're ever in Brooklyn and you want some Pizza go to Screamers you WON'T be disappointed.

Great vegan options! Went with the plain Jane vegan cheese and it was delish! Thought it was a bit expensive when I ordered a $40 pie. But it’s LITERAL New York sized pizza’s in a pie. So it was worth it! Got full off 2 slices 😹🙃

Ordered the Newyork regular slice which was just pizza sauce and vegan cheese and it was so good. the vegan cheese was creamy and the base light and crispy. About 6 different slices to choose from which is a lot for a non vegan place that’s been around 40years.

I got a slice of the vegan margherita pizza here and was blown away by the flavor. The house made cheese is one of the best vegan cheeses I've had on a pizza. Would give 5 stars but Happy Cow only allows 4 max for restaurants that aren't fully vegan. One of the best vegan pizza's I've ever had.

This is a top-rated pizza place with a bunch of vegan options--not just "no cheese pizza," but slices with vegan cheese and vegan faux-meats (there were five separate vegan options when I stopped by). It is next to a Flix but stop and fight by Penn Station and Madison Square Garden. This is a very traffic-filled, busy spot of NYC that I avoid unless I have to be nearby--but if you are in the area and like pizza, this is a good place to check out.
