Great food and friendly service! - Edit
I got mac and "cheese", bbq tofu, and jerk "chicken". The portion sizes were very fair for the price and the food was delicious!

I got the burger and thought it was delicious!! It didn’t taste like a premade beyond burger.. The red velvet cake was so yummy too! This is a great stop for travelers trying to find a quick on and off full vegan restaurant.. like myself

Solid food huge portions - Edit
I stopped in here when I first moved to Richmond. Got some kind of BBQ plate with a couple sides. The sides were great. I devoured quite a bit of those before I even started on the BBQ 'meat'. Then I discovered it was basically half a pound of protein with my name on it. I did not feel the need to eat dinner that day.

The only place I'd see room for improvement is the vibe of the place is kind of awkward. It's like half juice bar half vape store kind of atmosphere. I don't know why but it's just slightly kind of seedy? I'd not take someone on a first date here, 3rd or 4th date for sure.
I don't know, maybe get some plants or something to make it more cozy.
Also, everytime I stop in they are out of whatever I want and I have to settle for something else. Though this could be a function of my eating lunch at 2pm on most days.
Pros: tastes great, huge portions, friendly staff
Cons: atmosphere, could be cheaper with more realistic portions?

Disappointing Experience - Edit
Easily found paid parking outside. 1st time here. Much of the food is prepared and ready to serve. Some entree options are made to order. I asked for help understanding my options - the employee seemed bothered that I was there - that was unfortunate and left me not even wanting to order food. I continued with my questions and explained that I was a 1st time customer. She hesitated and then in one breath explains every option they have - again … a disappointing experience. I ordered their ginger spiced tofu with two sides - Cora and tomatoes, and savory beans (chickpeas). Serving portion was generous and a $17 platter with two entrees can easily last me two meals. I enjoyed the ginger tofu. The chickpeas and orca were also good. The service left me not wanting to return but maybe I will try other menu items next time I am in town.

I’ve eaten here before on my way to No. VA. Paid street parking with Mobile app. Great variety of mains and sides. Good service. My only issue is that they use way too much salt in the dishes and the collards were soaked in oil. Please ease up on the salt and oil!! #Veganuary

What a cute place! I saw a few reviews commenting how “rundown” this place seemed, but I didn’t get that impression at all! the space was very nice and the staff was super friendly! On top of that, the food was wonderful! I got the crab cake sandwich (not pictured because I ate it too fast) and the “chicken” salad, both of which were phenomenal. My partner got the “ribs” and green beans. The green beans were probably the most flavorful green beans I’ve ever had! They have so many items on their menu that I have never seen “veganized” before! The portions are also HUGE, so you will not leave hungry! My only critique is the single-use plastic ware they give, even when dining in.

Lots of drama with this restaurant in the past really set it back. The DC area locations are better. Hopefully they give the same attention to this location at some point in the future. Ordering online for pick up is a bear. One time it didn't even send them my order. For awhile, it wasn't updated with all the options. Quality hit or miss.

The Mac and cheese tasted dry and not cheesy. The ginger tofu was on brown rice that was hard. Didn't enjoy the tofu flavor. Didn't eat much.

Come here for good vegan food - not ambiance. The staff is helpful and friendly. The standouts were the chickn drummettes and the Mac and cheeze. Do not snooze on these!!! The collards are okay, not very flavorful, but the best green option. The kale salad in the cold section was so sharp with raw garlic that it was inedible, and I usually love garlic. The red velvet cupcake was delicious and moist, the chocolate chip cookie was good but IMO missing brown sugar. Best strategy: get chickn drummettes, Mac and cheese, desserts, all to go and supplement with greens/salad on your own.

There are so many options here. Super tasty Southern food. On Sundays they have a delicious brunch menu with lots of vegan breakfast food options. I ordered the country fried steak and loads of sides and everything was delicious. Will definitely be back when in the area.

Delicious fast casual. So tasty! Hubby had chickn drumsticks and Mac-n-cheez and I had Crabcake sandwich, Mac-n-cheez and Greek salad. The BEST vegan Mac-n-cheez I have ever had in 3.5 years! Very positive atmosphere. We were passing through traveling up from NC. Thankful for this place in Richmond!

Vegan Southern Comfort Done Right - Edit
I visited in the evening, just before closing. The staff was still very friendly and super helpful with helping me determine what to order. I ended up with the drummies, Mac n cheese, and mashed sweet potato. All delish! If they extend their hours before my next visit to Richmond, I will definitely go more than once. I was only able to get over there before 8pm on one evening.

Get the Mac n cheese. This restaurant had amazing food, my omnivore friend even admitted that the hour long drive was worth it just for this food. Get the Mac n cheese. All the food was amazing- the hard part was choosing from all the options. But, seriously, get the Mac and cheese!

The place has a very strong food smell inside, and did not seem clean at all, with tables being dirty. They only had plastic cutlery that you could pick but they all looked very dirty.

This is all such a pity, because the food was actually delicious and flavourful.
However for the “fast-food” type of service, I think it is quite overpriced.
Their juice and smoothie bar was out of operation.
