We went in right before closing time so I didn’t order anything from the back/fries and they didn’t have milkshakes available but everything was delicious and they gave me humongous portions in not sure if that is the standard here or if it was because they were closing, but I’m not complaining. ☺️

Read moreMy only complaint is that they seem to be lacking in service. It’s takes a bit for them to get your order, and they were missing multiple items on their menu. They were low in white rice, ran out of brown rice, had no buns for burgers, and were missing black bean patties. Weird for the fact I was there a hour after opening.
It also was a bit pricey, my entree and two sides was $18.50, definitely should be rated
“$$” and not “$”.

Went here twice while visiting the area. Everything my family and I ordered was delicious. And not only that, everything was uniquely delicious with interesting flavors. Chick’n drummies and fish sandwich had great texture and flavor. Lasagna was the best I’s ever had. Mac n cheese, macaroni salad, and red wine kale were flavor bombs. Also got a strawberry cupcake that was moist and yummy. The only thing that was basic was the steamed broccoli.
Read moreThat being said, it was bizarre that half the menu just wasn’t available. There are ~6 sauces listed for the chick’n drummies but only two were available soon after opening. They said no smoothies, shakes, or juices (aside from a handful in the fridge) were available. I asked if they normally were, and they said no and that its very rare for them to have smoothies or shakes. Rice which comes standard with their tofu dishes was unavailable after noon, and Chicken sandwiches were unavailable in the evening.
So I don’t really understand the way the menu is managed, but I’d still happily go back for the amazing food that is available.

I enjoy coming here. I tend to get their drums, sweet potatoes, and mac and cheese. The last time I got their mac and cheese, it was a bit dry. My friend got the ginger tofu once and it was delicious!

Best Chickn sandwich ive had in America, its good like buying two of them simultaneously good. Its so good it makes the sides mediocre and downright bad at times, The veggie noodles hurt my soul,s so I HIGHLY recommend just the sammies.

We love Southern food and stop here whenever we can. We now look online ahead of time and plan what to get for the entree and sides. My husband has to have the mac & cheese. Portions are bigger than you can even imagine. They just keep piling it on! We eat in, unlike everyone else we have ever seen in there despite a large fast-food-like dining room. Maybe we just come at off times. We loved the fried fish too. Easy parking in back. How I wish I had this kind of food close to home. The crab cakes are heavenly!!! As is the tartar sauce that comes with them.

Portions are HUGE. We each got the entree plate with two sides and finished maybe half of it. Very generous portions. Food tasted fresh, authentic, and delicious. Service was great as well. Would definitely come back to try more stuff! Highly recommend the crab cakes and Mac and cheese.

Update sept 2023 I literally drive like 40 minutes for this place and its worth it every time. They've got some great juices, mac n cheese, okra, collard greens, and omg the chicken! This is hands down one of my favorite restaurants period.

I spent about $50 bucks here. We ate what looked to be edible food at first. Until it entered our mouths. It took 5 secs before I spit the food out. The “ribs” were the texture of flip flops. The rice was stale and tasteless. The Mac and cheese had the texture of a yeast infection. What kind of joint are they running here? Do they want people to enjoy plant based food or go back to eating dead animals?

Their food is delicious, but my favorite thing for sure is their desserts. The oreo cheesecake is incredible, and so is their red velvet cake. You must try the oreo cheesecake if you have a big sweet tooth.

The staff were so friendly and helpful. For my first time visiting, they made me up a plate of their favourites - it was delicious! I had the ginger tofu with spicy cabbage and Mac and cheese. It was fantastic.

However, this time the quality of the food has diminished. The attention to detail by the staff has also dropped! The okra didn’t taste fresh at all the Mac and cheese was dried out it put me in the mind of eating stuffing. The chicken was okay not hot just warm. I am completely dissatisfied and disappointed. What happened to the quality and attention to detail?
